Y/n's pov.  

I approach the unnamed graves but the sizes tells the difference of how old the people are, there's hundreds of it, I don't know if it's all of them. I kneel on the ground by a small one and feel a tear run down my cheek so I wipe it off quickly.

" I'll make them pay " I said and hold onto the glass sphere in my hand.

" Revenge would usually brings you to your end " I look over my shoulder and see grampa approaching me.

" You would know " I said.

" I know a lot " he said and stand next to me.

I get up from the ground and sigh.

" Let me guess, you want me go back and rest " I said.

" No " he said, I furrow my eyebrows and turn to him.

" I was going to tell an update but seems like your not in the mood- "

" Wait! " I grab his arm and walk around in front of him.

" Tell me " I said.

He looks at me with his dull white eyes.

" Please " I said.

" The enemies that attacked are defeated, and the queen has ordered of a search party " he said.

" Search party? " I asked and he nods.

" We found survivors just two miles from this village and a donation center was open for them, I already made arrangements for it " he said, I smile.

" Now after your grams funeral, I would like you to help me around the department, in the Pisces bureau and commissions " he said.

" Really? " I asked and he nods.

" Really, now you can be more at ease and hide that sword " he said.

My eyes widened and I turn away holding the sheathed blade behind me.

" Your mother would slap you for it " he said and I lower my head.

" Other than that, you were right from the beginning, I want you to head back for a rest " I groan.

" I feel fine " I said.

" Tell that to blood loss " he shoves me and I shriek stepping back.

I stick my tongue out at him but he was quick enough to flick it and I yelp covering my mouth, I whine as I turn away.

" Just get back the same way you get here please, I already heard enough of your father's frustration rant " he said.

" Sounds like dad " I said and walk off.

I hear him chuckles and I hold my sword in front of me, I sigh as I caress it with my thumb. I unsheathe it halfway and see the blade reflecting my e/c eyes, it really looks like I'm looking at a mirror. I close it and look upfront to where I see Zane talking with someone by guards and I approach them.

" Zane " I get his attention.

As soon as he turns to me, he reveals Aaron standing there with folded arms.

" Hey " I said.

" Good, your here " Aaron said.

" What's that supposed to mean? " I asked.

" I came to look for you " he said.

" I'm touched, anyways, Zane, I need to head back, could you escort me? " I asked, Zane nods.

" I'll get the horse "

" That won't be necessary " Aaron said.

" What?, Why? " I asked.
