Y/n's pov.   

" I stand corrected " I lift my head to the familiar voice and see the crow on the window.

" Things went the wrong way, didn't it? " He tilt his head to the side and I snicker and got up from the floor as I approach.

" Matthew, where are the others? " I asked.

" Their downstairs in disguise and hiding " he said.

" How can they hide and be in disguise at the same time?, I mean Zane's sword could blend in but I'm pretty sure Alecia's weapon is very obvious and also their armors are like literally out of place with pirates who wears no armors " I said.

" Gene has it covered " he said.

" What's that supposed to mean? " I asked.

" You must focus on yourself, the others are fine, however the ship is sailing towards the east " he said.

" East?, Why are we heading east? " I asked.

" Lady Katelyn said she has no idea either, she knows little of the sea maps but her theory is maybe we're just going around like that blondie said " he said.

" I suppose that's a good guess " I said.

" I overheard the conversation in the captains's cabin about something about someone who's critically ill " he said.

" So they weren't lying, they do need me " I said.

" Did you hear or saw bad the condition of the patient is?, Maybe what type of sickness? " I asked.

" Just the captain worried of the patient's health, didn't see anyone but I can hear coughing " he said.

" Coughing. . .have you seen my backpack?, They took it before I boarded, I have my supplies in there but what I really need is my acupuncture needles, can you get them for me? " I asked.

" What do they look like? " He asked.

" It's inside wood capsule case like a small bottle, it's not that big " I said.

" I'll see what I can do, be back when I'm done " he said, I nodded.

" Thanks Matthew " I said and he sighs.

" The things I do for food " he flap his wings then fly away.

I back away from the window and look over to the gate, all the pirates went to sleep and I don't see a any of them, they all went down below deck, all I could see from this view is just barrels, nets, and the rest of the deck.

Lock picking

I remember that title in the Pisces volume and how to pick locks with only needles, the one in my hair right now is too big, my acupuncture needles are too thin and fragile. Looking around this brig I see two nail in a wall just barely in there, I kneel down on the floor and use my thumb to feel how hard it is wedged in there.

Maybe I can pull it out.

" Psst! " I turned immediately to the sound and exhale in relief to see Gene kneeling outside the gate.

" Gene, you scared me " I said as I walk up to him and kneel down with his level.

" So this happened " he said.

" Yeah, no shit Sherlock " I said.

" Who? " He asked.

I roll my eyes away.

" How'd you get passed the pirates? " I asked.

" Virgo, remember? " He asked.

" I don't exactly know what you do, since Cade usually only ramble about how the girls don't give him attention " I said.
