Y/n's pov.

" You sure your alright? " I asked as I pass Austin the canister of water.

" Yeah, I'm good " he said and drinks the water rather quickly.

" You don't have to act tough, just tell me if you really can't breathe, you took in a lot of smoke from the fire last night " I said.

He looks at me with after swallowing his water.

" How sweet of you lil' sis, didn't know you care " he said, I roll my eyes then hit his shoulder.

" Don't blame me if mom worries and pamper you all day, Cade's probably having the time of his life right now with his busted shoulder at home enjoying her pastries " I said, he snicker them sip his water again.

" Go pack up, we're going home after this " he said and I hum in response.

" What about the people you saved? " I asked.

" We have a team to escort them safely " he said then get up from the crate he was sitting on.

" Okay, be done in fifteen " I said and walk away to the tent.

As I approach the wind blows the tent a little and the fabric flap about as I see Cathleen sound asleep on the bed. Seems like she had a goodnight sleep after the medicine I gave her for the cramps. I enter the tent and see Delilah had already did half of the packing up so I walk up to Cathleen.

" Cathleen " I put my hand on her arm and lightly shake her.

" Wake up, we're setting off " I said.

She moans as she hugs her stomach.

" I can't swim, I'm on my period " she said tiredly, I snicker and grab her arms to pull her up.

" Wake up!, Or your sleeping in this mountain alone and get eaten by lions " I said.

Her eyes shot open as I mention lion.

" No you wouldn't " she looks at me with those bloodshot tired eyes and messy hair.

" I would if you don't get up and wash your face " I said.

From her reaction of getting up and leaving this tent tells me her period cramps aren't that painful for her to notice. I shake my head and pack up my stuff, as for the rest with the tent, bed and table I was told to let the guards deal with it. Once I was done I leave tent and put my backpack over my shoulders while approaching the horse where Delilah's at, she just securing the horse's bridle but somehow lost in thought at the same time.

Her face looks pale and I can tell she's not sleeping well.

" Hey " I approach but she doesn't seem to realize.

Now she's standing there I look at her properly and she looks very exhausted while dissociating.

" Delilah " I hold her arm and she snaps back to me.

" Y-yeah? " She asked.

" How many hours of sleep did you get last night? " I asked.

" I–. . .don't remember " she struggles to talk.

I sigh as she shakes her head to wake herself up.

" When we get home your getting more rest " I said.

" But Trevor. . . "

" You worry about him too much, he's in good hands " I caress her arm in reassurance and she sighs.

" Yeah " she said.

" Come on, your riding with me, I can't have you fall off the horse "

" No, I'm okay, really " she takes my hand off her politely.
