[ Chapter 53 ]

Y/n's pov.  

I'm in this room all bundled up, I feel cold now and the queen left earlier to deal with whatever is going with Ashley and her crew.

" I only brought ginseng with me, but it should help " I look up where I see gramps approaching with a teacup on a plate coaster.

" I'll just puke it out later " I said.

" At least you'll drink it " he said and Riley help me sit up.

I grip the blanket tight to not have it fall off and he sit down on the edge of the bed, helping me have a sip of it slowly since it's hot. It was relieving for my throat and I take a few more sips as I lean against Riley.

He then feels my forehead as he take out a pocket watch.

" Your temperature is improving, you'll be out of the woods in a few more hours " he said.

" What are they doing to the Madelaina crew? " I asked.

The pocket watch clicked when he closes it and he get up from the bed.

" Gramps " I said.

" It's not good to put stress over your head, I'll update you when you are in better condition " he said.

I see him put down the teacup on the table then start walking out of this cabin and I sigh with a shiver.

" Can you get me some more blankets? " I asked.

Riley help me lie back down and as she gets off the bed.

" There aren't many blanket and most of them are dirty, I'll try to find some clean ones but it will take me a while " she said.

" I'll be fine, I'm just really cold " I said, she nods.

" Be right back, hang in there " she said then rush out.

As soon as the door shut, I didn't waste time to push myself up from the bed.

I need to know how this'll turn out, I have to make sure Ashley won't get blame for what that prick planned.

I hold the edge of the table and I can't believe I manage to get up myself, I take the blanket off and see my jacket hanging. I reach and got it but I only drape it over my shoulder instead of sliding my arms in the sleeves. Pulling it together to help me be warmer, it works like a treat but I ignore it. I quickly make it to the door and open, the first thing I felt was the cold breeze making me shiver more so I leaned against the door frame while hissing from the cold.

I see we're not even outside, this is just a corridor which tells us how big this vessel is. I push myself through and made it out as well as shutting the door behind me, I hear the sound of talking and it's coming from l upstairs but also outside. I try to make my walking not so obvious and loud when I take a step on the wood, even though I'm barefoot you can hear the patter. I hold the wall for support and head down one way to find the exit.

Once I stepped out my body got even colder and I squeeze my arms but endure it and look around the deck to see so many guards stand watch. I tried my best to be quiet when I turn and head to the stairs for the upper deck. In the end I found the stairs, holding the railings and struggling to climb up, I still shiver while gripping my jacket.

" You can do this Y/n. . .come on " I whisper to myself and let out a shaky breath.

" How dare you accuse my mate?! " I hear Ashley's voice echoes throughout this ocean.

I push myself up and when I got to the top, I ended up sitting on the floor and hug myself. I look up and see Ashley, Daphne and Luca on one side with her crew while the celestial people are on one side. And celestial guards all around. I lean back against the wall and just watch while enduring the freezing cold as well as some pain ony chest.
