Y/n's pov.  

All hail broke loose.

I shriek and duck when a goblet just shattered this window and fly over my head. Hearing shouting and screaming, as I bring my head back up, the scenery is a chaos and bloody. Everyone's hitting everyone, arrows from Lucy and Cleo went through the windows and I can see them from a distance going from one area to another to get a better angle and view. Austin rapelled down from the roof earlier and Cade is actually doing pretty good fighting with the brass knuckles.

I look over to Ellis and gasp when she just plunged her sword down into a man, while dad repeatedly bloodied another guy's face with his obsidian fist.

The look on their faces are merciless that it's scaring me, wouldn't want to get on their bad side.

I then just change my attention back to the basement door where I heard another crash. I run over to the door and there's chains and a padlock. Looking around quickly to find a huge brick, picking it up I groan to how heavy it is and just throw it on the padlock.

" Ha! " I laugh when the padlock came off.

I take off the chains after then open the door as I see staircase leading down the dark basement.

" Mom?! " I asked.

I hear nothing other than the brawling at the tavern until,

" Tell me you did not came here with your idiot of a father when he shouldn't have brought you and your siblings! "

I smile and giggle before going down and there's a few lanterns on the wall then see mom at the end of the room, tied against a pillar on the floor. I also see the fallen rack which I assume she reached with her legs.

" Mom! " I smile as I rush over to her.

" You of all of your sisters and brothers!, You shouldn't be here! " She said as I kneel behind her.

" Mom please, we're all here for you " I said and reach in my dagger behind my waist.

I start cutting the thick rope, she sighs.

" Who else is here? " She asked.

" Aunt Xavia, aunt Mei and uncle Axel " I said.

" Ughh " she groans in annoyance and I finally got the rope to snap.

" Okay, got it " I said and put my dagger back.

I help her up when she wince holding her wrist, I see their really red to how tight the ropes were.

" Let's go– "

" Wait, Y/n! " She grabs my hand.

" Mom? " I turn to her in confusion.

I notice her staring and when I look around, the sound of heavy footsteps come down the stairs. Seeing a pair of iron boots first and soon enough a man descends down from outside.

" Who the hell is that? " I asked as mom put her arm in front of me and step forward.

" I don't know, I couldn't get a name " mom says over her shoulder quietly.

" He kept asking where the Pisces heir is " she said.

My eyes lit up.

" So whatever you do, do not expose yourself " she whispers.

" What if he's gonna kill us both? " I asked quietly.

" I distract, you run " she said.

" Then dad will kill me after! "
