Y/n's pov.

" Alright, I'm gonna hit the snooze, we got a long day ahead of us tomorrow " Gene yawns then get up from his seat.

" Your room's are on the first floor, yours is the fourth on the right " Ellis said.

" What about you guys? " I asked after swallowing my drink.

" We don't get a room " Cade said.

" What?, Why? " I asked.

" Because we're on duty " Lucy stuffs the last piece of the bread in her mouth then start chugging the tankard of mead.

" Don't get drunk on duty " Cleo nudges her twin but she keeps going.

" I don't know how you guys could withstand hours and hours of work " I said.

" We get used to it " Zane said beside me.

" It's like you and your nightshift at the medical center " Ellis said.

Lucy slams down her mug then let out a burp.

" This is Cade's first time outside our boarders too " Lucy takes a napkin and wipe her lips.

" It is and I am not fucking it up " he brush the invisible dust off his shoulder.

" Already did by the time you opened your mouth " Ellis said and he turn his head with a glare and a pout.

" Keep pouting, maybe you can reach a fish for your first kiss " she ruffles his hair as she gets up then grab his arm.

" Let's go " she pulls him.

" Whoa! " He stumbles and they both leave.

" Well, the night has been good, gotta get back to our position before anyone else tell on us " Cleo gets up then turn to her twin who's eyelids are dropping.

" This is why she can't drink a lot " She said then grab Lucy by the collar.

" Come on! "

" Ah! " She shrieks after her eyes shot open and they leave quickly.

I snicker and look at my plate where I finished my muffin just half an hour ago.

" I'll go prepare your nightly routine " Calliope lean towards me and I nod before she leaves.

I watch as she head up the stairs then my eyes trailed to the hand on the table and my head turns to meet a pair of lilac blue eyes. It stares into mine and we start gazing, with the lighting it glistens and sparkled like stars.

" I missed this " I finally spoke and he smiles.

" I missed you " he said then see he moved his hand without hesitation over mine and I was just about to pull away but he interlocks our fingers.

My lips formed a smile that I couldn't control and so did his.

" I was so busy worrying about other things that I almost forgot about you " I said.

" So did I was busy with trying to be helpful for you " he said.

" You did all you could, and this might be our only chance to spend our time " I said.

" Then let's make the most of it " he smiles more before getting up from the bench and pull my arm.

" Hey!, Where are you going? " I grip his hand tighter and he turns back to me.

" We're not suppose to separate from the others " I said.

" It's just up on the roof, don't worry " he said.
