" You had me thinking you were kidnapped! "

" We all thought you died somewhere! "

" No, only you " dad bites his biscuits.

I stand here by the end of the dining table as mom stands just across this kitchens, my siblings just enjoying their breakfast and gramps drinking his tea with dad.

" I didn't mean it to happen hehe " I nervously laugh with my fingers pointed to each other.

Her face change to the color red and her hands on her hips clench onto a fist and ready to grab these ears.

" You better have a good explanation young lady " she said.

" I do but, I don't know how to say it. . . " I said as I put down my hand.

" We're waiting " I look at Ellis who's smiling and so are my other siblings just staring at me.

" You all love this don't you? " I squint my eyes.

" Don't change the subject! " Mom said and I turn back to her.

I glance at gramps who added two cubes of sugar to his tea.

" I was at the palace " I said.

" The entire night? " Dad asked.

" Well. . . " I just connect all my five fingers together and have them bounce against each other as I try to think to word this.

" Spit it out, is it that hard to say? " Mom asked.

" It is!, I don't know how– "

" She slept there " gramps blurted out.

Cade choked, Lucy spat, Cleo's bun dropped from her mouth, Austin's spoon is spilling his porridge and Ellis is pouring more sugar than she should in her tea.

Dad put down his tea calmly as mom's face is no longer got red but normal and confused.

" I'll let gramps explain " I click my tongue twice as I point to gramps before walking away.

As I turn to leave I almost crashed into someone and I backed away too late when hot tea just spilled all over me.

" Oh my god!, I'm so sorry! "

I hiss and let out a yelp of pain from the hotness then look up to see who.

" Y/n, are you alright?! "

" Aunt Xavia? " I asked.

" Your hands! " She put down the tray on the counter then grab my wrists.

" It's fine, it wasn't that hot " I said as we see my skin only turned red.

She sighs in relief then use a rag to dry my hands.

" When did you arrive? " I asked.

" Just now " she said.

I hear footsteps behind me and suddenly mom take away the rag from aunt Xavia and turn to me.

" Go take a bath and change, the medical centre needs you " she said as she wipe some tea off my dress for me.

" Wait, why are you here? " I look at aunt Xavia as she clears her throat.

" Well. . .I can't really miss my niece's wedding am I right? " She asked.

" But the engagement was just yesterday " I hear Cade cough.

I look over my shoulder to him where grampa is just patting his back for him.
