" Pirates?! " I flinched and hold my fork really close to myself as all my siblings turn to me in shock.

" Don't look at me like that " I said and bite my piece of pie from my fork.

" You met pirates!, Especially the captain of the ship Madelaina! " Cleo exclaims.

" Lower voices during meals please " mom said as he pour dad a glass of water.

" You didn't think to bring me?! " I look over to Cade who has his sling off.

" You had a busted shoulder " I said and swallow my pie.

" It's not busted now " he hit it himself and it wasn't even that hard.

" Damn, I only heard stories of the Madelaina, never even heard it or encountered it during our transport commissions " Luciana said.

" I just wanna see a pirate " Austin said.

" Y/n was just lucky to be alive " dad said.

" She did it to save a life and you can't blame her as a Pisces "

" It's not what mom thinks " I look over to Ellis who's stirring her hot tea with a spoon.

The sugar dissolving as the metal just scrape against the glass menacingly while looking at me.

" I am mad, but what is the most important thing is she's back alive and unharmed " mom said.

" She still could've died " Ellis said as she put down her spoon.

" You can't be mad about that, I mean we all know what she can do–. . .ow! " Cade yelps after we hear a thud from under the table.

He gasp and start squeaking while the heel of my boot is squishing his toe, he start hitting my arm repeatedly and I lift my foot. He sighs in relief and I roll my eyes away, brushing the wrinkles on my arm straight.

" She had the protection of the other heirs " we then turn to gramps putting back a jar of herbs into a cabinet.

Seeing he mixed it in a teacup and stirring it while going around the table.

" She knows what she's doing " he said and I look back at Ellis.

She looks at me with a calm expression but I know she's still pissed but, she ended up giving a small smile.

" Then next time, tell me about it too, I can protect you, all of you "she points to us.

" How noble " Cleo said in a accent as she pretend to hold a teacup.

Ellis hit her shoulder and she just laugh it off, suddenly gramps lowers the teacup to me and I take it.

" Thanks " I said and take a whiff before sipping it carefully.

" Clove tea? " I look up at mom.

" Why are you drinking that? " She asked and she lowers the jug in her hand.

" To calm her mind from an incident that might be traumatic " gramps said then walk away.

I look at dad who's getting the hint.

" I'll tell you later " he looks up at mom and I continue to sip my tea quietly.

" Did something happened? " She looks down at him and he hold her hand.

" Later afterwork " he said and get up as she help him.

" Finish your tea and attend to work " gramps place a hand on my shoulder.

I nodded and try to drink quickly but also slowly since it's still hot, I glanced to my right and caught the other of my siblings staring. They kept staring and I hold my teacup in confusion.
