Y/n's pov.  

" Have you seen this child? " Zane slides the sheet of paper with the child's sketch on it.

The man glances down at it and kept his mouth shut as he look back up at us.

" Answer his question " I said.

He keeps a straight face and I furrow my eyebrows.

" Umm, can he do that? " I look at the others and Cathleen chuckles.

" He'll answer the question " she said.

I then see Katelyn stand next to the man and she simply hold his shoulder and the glow from before occurs. The man starts groaning in pain and I lightly gasp as he wince and bend down moaning in agony.

" Oh please, this is only the bare minimum, I'm not even using my full strength yet " Katelyn said as she still holds his shoulder.

" Are you gonna answer now? " Zane asked.

" Okay!, Okay!, I know the kid!, Please stop! " He groans.

I see Zane gave a signal and Katelyn stops, she still holds his shoulder but the glowing dims down. He pants and swallowed a lump in his throat trying to catch his breath and leaning back on the chair with his arms restrained behind him.

" Why are you kidnapping children? " Zane asked.

" It's not what you think " he said and finally calmed down.

" It is what we think it is " Cathleen said and lean against the wall with her arms folded.

" We don't just kidnap kids, we take specific ones " he said.

" What the hell does that mean? " I asked.

" He means their target the children who has the potential of magic, right? " Ein asked and the man just look away.

I take it that's a yes.

" Who's we?, Who do you work for? " Zane asked.

The man kept his silence again and Katelyn siphons his again but I assume it's at a minimal strength.

" Agh! " He groans in pain.

" I don't know!, I swear I don't know! " He winces and struggles trying to get Katelyn's hand off but she doesn't stop.

" Maybe someone else who knows " Zane said.

I stand here in discomfort as his scream of agony continues on.

" How did his even start? " Katelyn asked.

I saw the glowing on her hand goes brighter and he screams louder my ears hurt to hear it but I have to endure it until Katelyn stops. The man exhale in relief as he pant and I look at his shoulder where I see the outline of Kate's hand on his skin, it's only red.

" Answer him please, we don't want to kill you " Cathleen said.

" Jareth " he said as he leaned back again and catch his breath again.

" Who? " I asked and he swallow a lump in his throat again.

" Jareth's the one who approached us, he said if we get these kids he'll pay us a good amount of money, that's all I know, I swear " he said and looked at Zane.

" You just take the victims to him? " Zane asked and he nods desperately.

" And then what? " Ein asked.

" I don't know, he just gives us our money and we wait for the next target, that's all "

" You agreed to his offer without even thinking twice? " I asked.
