Y/n's pov.

" Miss Mei, I think Her Lady has had enough of the cookies " Calliope smiles politely as she pass me a canister of water and I didn't wait to just start chugging it.

" Oh nonsense!, These are the best cookies I've ever tasted!, I know you love cookies! " She eats more.

The sugar is getting into my brain.

" I'm already stuffed from this morning's breakfast " I let out a nervous chuckle after swallowing my water.

" Well more for your siblings then " she folds the paper bag then set it aside with an exhale.

" Aunt Mei "

" Hmm? " She turns to me with her soft smile.

" What's it like living here? " I asked.

She opens her mouth to speak then pause and shut her mouth with her eyes looking around before she let out a scoff.

" Funny how no one has asked me that before " she said.

" Really? " I asked.

" It's mostly my men asking how my life were in Celeste " she leans against the wall and fold her arms across her chest.

" What did you say? " I asked.

She scoffs again and sigh.

" I don't like talking about the past, as for now we focus on the present and this trip " she place a hand on my shoulder.

" Right, sorry " I said and she smiles again with her arm around my shoulder then pull my head against her chest abruptly.

The she starts stroking my hair.

" Our mission now is to protect you then try to get home as soon as possible to avoid trouble " she said.

I sit here awkwardly as she keeps stroking my hair and I look over to Calliope who's sitting there and not knowing what to do.

" I wouldn't want to get on Sienna's bad side, she's gotten more "queen-y" ever since she took the throne and had her son " she dramatically said.

" And I'm surprised she even remembers us " she said.

I clear my throat and got her hands off me as I sit up straight.

" Who am I even meeting? " I asked.

" I don't want to reveal her name now, it's best if I tell you when we arrive, she's also protecting her identity " she said.

" I see " I said.

I then turn my head towards the window to see where we are and I see people walking by. I scoot over a little closer and lift the curtains a little to peek, my mouth went ajar to the scene and I couldn't process how lively this city is. There's merchants selling lots of things that people back in Celeste wouldn't sell such as the street food being something I've never tried.

" Did I just saw someone selling eel on a skewer? " I look up at Calliope who's doing the same to the other window.

" Oh!, I love those, their my favourite lunch snacks, especially if their coated with the sauce! " I turn to aunt Mei as she smiles.

Calliope and I looked at her at the same time in disbelief and she chuckles.

" You'd like it too once you try, believe me Via and Axel was the same when we saw it " she said.

I let out a low nervous laugh before turning back out the window. As I watch the outside it was getting boring and uncomfortable to see how things work here, then moments later my eyes avert to a big mansion.
