It was still dark outside, when Jungkook took a quiet seat in the back of the plane. He had declined sitting next to Tae, who had taken a window seat and patted the empty seat next to him, pointing at his head.

"Headache?" Tae mouthed and Jungkook nodded.

It was one of the few reasons for Jungkook to seek solitude, instead of sitting with the guys.

RM pointed at his retreating form, ready to call him back, but Tae shook his hand at him signaling at his head.

The plane was only small, holding up to 50 people. The front of the plane had been converted into an area specifically for the band members, with enough room for them to sleep, write music or just mess around. The back was reserved for selected crew and staff, and the rest used commercial flights to get from one place to another.

Things had definitely improved since they first started the band. In the time they were still relatively unknown, they had to travel with commercial flights and that meant the possibility of having fans onboard.

Jungkook closed his eyes and took a deep breath, as he thought back of those times. Most of the flights had been relatively relaxed, but there had been a few incidents where fans couldn't contain their excitement and things had become rather ... unpredictable. Fortunately, their bodyguards were excellent at their jobs and kept the fans at a distance, demanding them peace and quiet during the flight.

With their personal plane, those days were now over and peace and quiet wouldn't have to be forced during the flight.

Hobi and Jin started laughing about something, causing Jungkook to open his eyes out of curiosity. They were slapping each other, and pulling Yoongi in, but he refused to become the referee. "Figure it out by yourselves," he called out as he pushed through and came to sit on the opposite side of Jungkook.

He nodded at the youngest, acknowledging him, but then opened his backpack to take out his laptop.

Jungkook knew that Yoongi wouldn't bother going into conversation with him, especially not as they sat in the back of their section. That was reserved for when you needed some solitude and it was the place where Yoongi usually sat.

The headache Jungkook was having didn't seem to die down much as the plane left the runway and went up into the air. So, he did what he usually did at times like this: he closed his eyes and tried to get some more sleep.

Thoughts in the back of his mind swayed left and right, but none made really sense and Jungkook felt too tired to try and understand them. His breathing slowed down and the noises around him disappeared into the background as he drifted away into a soundless sleep.

Two quick taps on his shoulder, followed by a voice calling out his name, made him open his eyes reluctantly. "W-what?"

A woman smiled at him and Jungkook recognized her as one of the medical staff who had joined them on this tour, though he didn't know her name. "I hope you weren't sleeping already," she said kindly. "RM told me you were having a headache, so I brought you some water and an Advil."

Jungkook took the bottle of water, but refused the medicine. "I just need some rest," he told her, "but thank you."

She bowed and left through the curtain behind them.

Jungkook took a few sips of water and placed the bottle in the cup holder beside him. Then he slid back in his seat, crossed his arms over his chest and closed his eyes once more.

Soon, he'd fallen in a deep sleep where dreams became reality. Another concert. A girl in the front row, cheering him on. Who was she? Then a scream from behind him. He turned to see what was going on, but he wasn't on stage anymore. He was in a dark room, with a faceless person in front of him. A hand grabbed his ankle and he looked down, watching Jin bleeding from his chest.

This is a nightmare.

But he couldn't wake up.

He bent down, grabbing Jin by his shirt, ready to run from the dangerous situation. But Jin's face disappeared and then the rest of him, leaving Jungkook with only a shirt in his hands.

Voices started chanting his name. "Jungkook, Jungkook, Jungkook!"

He looked left and right, to see where they came from, but there was only darkness around him. No people, no walls, no floor, nothing. No floor?

And just like that, whatever held him upright crumbled underneath him and Jungkook fell into nothingness.

A buzzing arose from inside his jacket, instantly awakening him.

Sweat dripped from his face, as he sat upright and placed his hands against his head. Thoughts were running wild in his mind. The visuals had been too real. Jin. The blood. The darkness. Feeling everything crumble underneath him.

It was just a nightmare.

"You okay?" sounded Yoongi's voice.

He nodded without looking up, trying to calm his nerves. He swiped the sweat from his forehead and took a few deep breaths. He then took out his phone to see what had made it go off. it was a notification on Weverse.

Weird. I thought I had these turned off.

He opened the app and read a few of the newest messages. One in particular caught his attention. It was from an ARMY who spoke openly about dealing with her depression. As he read her words, it sparked something in him and before not too long he grabbed his notebook and began writing.

Author's note

Ugh, what a nightmare. I don't like seeing Jin bleeding in front of me! But I guess that's the curse of a writer who visualizes everything in her head before writing it down.

Confession time: I have no clue how the guys travel from one city to another while doing a world tour, so I just made it up. I guess that sounds logical, since this is after all just fiction, but I wanted to point that out anyhow.

Also, the way the guys interact is how I think they interact. Perhaps I'm right. Perhaps I'm wrong. But hey, this is fiction right? So, anything is possible!
