Jungkook's heart was racing, still, even though it had been an hour since that moment in the bathroom stall. The anticipation leading up to the kiss lasted only a few minutes, and the kiss itself barely a minute before it abruptly ended by a knock on the door. One of the staff members had called out that it was time to board the plane.
She had let him down instantly.
With his feet back on the floor, but his mind still in the clouds, he hadn't been able to switch off this hunger inside him. The kiss wasn't enough to satisfy it. Not nearly enough.
He had wanted to keep her with him, ignore the knocks on the door and just continue the kissing, the groping, and the skin on skin contact.
But she had taken his hands, pinning them above his head against the wall with one arm and placing his other hand on his mouth to stop him from complaining. With her face so close to his, and his body sandwiched between hers and the wall, only made him want her more.
She had waited for him to open his eyes and look into hers, before slowly shaking her head. "To be continued," she had whispered, a sly smile around her lips.
"Soon?"
His voice had been high pitched and out of breath when he spoke that one word.
She had chuckled as she nodded and let him go. Pressing a finger against her lips, she had opened the bathroom stall and... the magic was broken. They were back in the reality. At the airport. Ready to board a plane. With no personal space to retreat to and continue what they had started.
Jungkook closed his eyes and leaned against the headboard of his seat. His heart was racing just thinking about that moment. Everything in him craved her. Everything in him wanted nothing more than to take her into his arms and never let her go again.
He swallowed hard, realizing what this meant. She wasn't just the woman who he'd switched bodies with. She wasn't just a woman who he had kissed or been intimate with.
She was the woman whose kisses had shattered his world. Whose touch had risen his temperature and made him lose all sense of reality. And whose words and attention had made him feel like he could face anything with her next to him.
His throat felt dry and he grabbed the bottle of water next to him, hoping it would soothe his throat.
"You're in love with him, aren't you?"
I coughed up the water I had just started to drink.
Hye-Jin quickly handed me a small towel from the giftset they'd received upon entering the plane. "I'm sorry," she said. "I didn't mean to startle you like that."
Jungkook glanced over Hye-Jin's shoulder, watching the woman who'd occupied his thoughts and had made his heart race. She had her eyes closed, but Jungkook wasn't sure if she was sleeping or just trying to remain calm as he had done the past hour.
"It's insane, isn't it?"
"What?" Hye-Jin asked. "Being in love with him?"
Jungkook turned his attention to her.
She shook her head. "I don't think so. He's got a beautiful character, the most humble out of all of them, very in tune with his surroundings and always there for another." She leaned closer. "Plus, a killer body and face."
Jungkook laughed at her facial expression. "It sounds like you might be in love with him as well."
Hye-Jin waved her hands dismissively as she laughed quietly. "No, absolutely not. He's more like my little brother than a love interest. He's very genuine and you can't fake that so, I can understand why he's one of the favorites among ARMY."
