Shuichi Saihara...

He's the most popular guy on campus, with the top grades in the entire school. Student council elections have just begun and he's already secured his win. Needless to say, he is not someone to be underestimated.

I cannot blame my senpai for falling for him. Shuichi Saihara is the definition of perfection. Not only is he an irresistible beauty, he's also benevolent and pure. He just gives off this angelic aura. When people see that kind of person, they just want to scoop them up in their arms and protect them with their lives.

But I must not falter. If I don't act fast, my senpai will be lost to him. For my beloved, I will find a way to eliminate the school's resident angel, permanently.

. . .

"Arrest her!" the blue-haired detective commanded. The officers around him complied without a question, quickly handcuffing the furious yandere girl and restraining her. Shuichi giggled.

"You know..." he said, smiling evilly at her. "I heavily overestimated you. I had no idea that simply... hanging around with that average loser would agitate you so much. Well, that doesn't matter, because I've caught the mysterious murderer; the mastermind behind all those 'accidents'."

"How did you know it was me?"

Shuichi shrugged.

"Just a hunch."

That was a lie. Shuichi had to go through some trouble to confirm that she was indeed the murderer, too much trouble in his opinion. He just wanted to graduate, move on to university, get a few PhDs and be done with school, but his uncle had assigned him to this case and so he had to see it through.

As the criminal was dragged away by the police, kicking and screaming, Shuichi waved goodbye and ordered dumplings on his phone. Once that was done, he went to the back of the school, where the incinerator was located and sighed.

PHEW! Well, that case is done and over with, good riddance. At least now more people will vote for me.

The boy groaned as he continued to chuck items into the incinerator.

Ugh! Torturing that 'Info-chan' girl was such a pain. I thought that she'd be at least a little tough since she saw through my manipulation, but once I started getting physical she broke down immediately! Just two nails and she was already spilling everything. I had no more use for her after that so I just got rid of her.

The second after Shuichi switched on the incinerator, his phone rang. Shuichi's face darkened after he saw who was calling but he still picked up.

"Hello Uncle." Shuichi said, his voice monotonous and flat.

"Good job on the case Shuichi. I've raised you well."

I'Ve RaIsEd YoU wElL!

"Remember, Shuichi, why we do these things. Why we are detectives."

"To impose justice into this cruel world." Shuichi chanted. He had heard that same phrase a million times, ever since childhood, and BOY was he tired of it.

That was just how Shuichi lived. He cared not one bit for humanity or justice, but when he was called, nothing would get in his way of solving the case. Shuichi was not afraid to get his hands dirty. That's why he has never failed a single case before. He knew with absolute certainty that no one had figured out his secrets. No one is allowed to see the thick trail of blood and the mountain of bodies behind Shuichi, and if anyone does, they are to be disposed of immediately.
