Odalia Sucks and Everyone Knows It

Warning: death, burned faces. 

This oneshot is written weirdly on purpose, because it's kind of like a crack oneshot. It's also more of an Odalia hate oneshot than a Lumity one, so if you don't want to read about her literally dying, I'd suggest skipping it. 

Luz tiptoed towards Blight Mansion, trying to be as quiet as humanly possible. No one could know she was there.

She climbed the wall up to Amity's room, cause she's nimble like that, and sprung through Amity's window like the weird cat-like girl she was. "Meow meow!" she declared.

Amity's head shot up and her eyes widened. "Luz? What are you doing?" she asked, confused.

"I'm going to help you kill your mom cause she's evil. Meow meow! Luz to the rescue!"

Amity thought about it. "Ok," she said. "I hate her anyway. Let's do it."

The two of them sneakily sneaked around the house to let the other Blights (excluding Odalia, of course) know of their plan. Alador was a bit hesitant, but after remembering the events of Clouds on the Horizon, he, too, wanted to join in. What was the difference between murder and divorce anyway, he wondered. He'd be doing the world a favour.

When it came time for Blight Industries' presentation, the family was nowhere to be found. Odalia was confused and livid, but since she couldn't find them anywhere and she needed to charm the investors, she decided to present without them. It would be fine. She'd just lecture them later.

She was in the middle of showing off her newest abomination robot. "It won't rest until its target is certainly DEAD," she roared, pointing menacingly at her poor test subject this time: a short demon with a singular grey eye and brown hair in a long braid down her back. She snarled. The Blights and Luz could see that she was in the healing and construction tracks at Hexside based on her dark blue sleeves and brown leggings.

"We must save her as well as killing your mom!" Luz said worriedly in a whisper-shout. "We can kill two birds with one stone! Well actually, kill one bird and save the other, but you know what I mean." Three pairs of yellow eyes stared back at her as if to say that, no, we don't know what you mean.

"What are we gonna do?" Amity asked, interrupting.

Alador grinned. He'd always wanted to use this. "Don't worry, kids," he responded. "I have a plan. Just watch."

As Odalia screamed, "Abomination, attack!" Alador pressed a button on his remote control thing. Immediately the abomination froze up. Odalia looked scandalized, and all of them giggled. The demon girl looked unsure whether or not it was a trick.

Odalia turned to the audience, who were starting to murmur. "Don't worry," she drawled, "this is the abomination's way of tricking the target into thinking it's safe. This is all going to plan!"

Right after she said this, Alador flicked a switch and the abomination started blasting pop music and busting out some pretty sweet dance moves for a robot. This time, even the demon girl couldn't keep a straight face. The Blights and Luz were laughing so hard Ed and Em were wiping tears from their eyes.

Odalia's expression was priceless as she watched the once attentive crowd gradually start to slip away. Nobody could take her dancing fool of an abomination seriously.

When the stage had entirely emptied out (including demon girl, she escaped along the way), Odalia heard them and stormed over.

"You!" she shouted. "All of you! You are ALL grounded for a month! Including you, Alador! I know you did that! As for you..." she turned to Luz and pointed a finger at her menacingly (again). "You are never allowed to come here again! You are prohibited to even come near any of us! No more dating my daughter, and no more hanging around the twins or scheming with Alador! Never come near us agai-"

She was cut off by Alador slapping her cheek. Her face contorted with rage but just as she opened her mouth, Edric slapped her cheek too, closely followed by Emira, Amity, and Luz.

"You can't control this family any more, Odalia!" Alador yelled, his face red with anger. "We won't let you!"

Luz finished drawing out a teleportation glyph and jumped on it. The ground glowed blinding yellow light and when their eyes recovered, they saw that they were standing on top of a volcano. The heat was overwhelming, and the lava lurked ominously below.

"You are a disgrace to this world!" Edric yelled.

"Yeah! We all hate you!" Emira chimed in.

"You never loved any of us. All you wanted was money and power and you used us to get it!" Alador said.

"You would've destroyed the world if it weren't for us and you would've had no mercy as long as you got to be at the top!" Luz shouted.

"And now, we're all going to watch as you die slowly and painfully," Amity finished, a cold glint flashing in her eyes.

All of them prepared as Amity counted, "One, two...three!" and they all pushed her with all their strength into the lava below.

She screamed as she fell, her cries echoing off the walls of the volcano and into their ears. None of them moved or did anything to stop it as she plummeted into the lava.

There was silence for a second after she fell in. Then she briefly reappeared, her face black, screaming her lungs out. It truly was a horrifying sight.

When she finally disappeared under and didn't come back up, they all looked at each other and Luz drew the glyph to come back home. They appeared back in the mansion and grinned at each other, knowing they did a job well done.
