Today's the day, Luz thinks as she walks through the doors of Hexside. St. Patrick's Day. Let's hope people are wearing green, or else the wild leprechauns will pinch them! AKA me!
She sees her friends and makes a >:3 face as she sneaks up to them. When she arrives, she jumps up and flings her limbs out like this:

Willow and Gus screech as they get jump-scared by their best friend. Once they calm down, Gus says, "Why would you do that to us?"
"Because it's St. Patty's day! Are you two wearing greeeeen?" She scans them and finds, to her disappointment, that Willow's uniform means she was automatically wearing green on her sleeves. Gus, however, was in illusions and was wearing light blue. And he didn't have any other green clothing or accessories, which meant it was free real estate.
"Luz, what do you mean?" Willow asked as Luz reached out and pinched Gus on the arm.
"Ow! Why would you do that?" he asked, perplexed as he looked at her smug grin.
"Muahahahahaha," she cackled. "You weren't wearing green, so you get pinched!"
Her friends exchanged looks. "Why?" Willow asked.
"Because it's St. Patrick's Day!" At their confused stares, she dimmed. "Do you guys not have that?"
"Nope. Can you tell me more about it?" Gus asked eagerly.
"Sure!" Luz answered, her energy returning to match his. "So I don't know all the details, but it all started when..."

"Hehehehehehehe," Luz snickered as she tiptoed through the halls, searching for non-green people to pinch (without getting in trouble). SUDDENLY, she spotted Amity. Automatically, her heart did a little jump at the sight of her girlfriend before realizing: Wait. She's not in the plant track, and I don't think she's wearing any green. So that means...
The evil grin returned to her face as she crept up behind her, being as quiet as she could. Then, she did the Spinel thing again and shouted, "Boo!"
"Ahhh!" Amity reacted, turning around and drawing a spell circle. Immediately, abomination goo enclosed her and only her right foot and left arm was sticking out—along with her head, of course. "Oof," she groaned, "I think I deserved that."
"Luz!" she exclaimed, surprised. "Sorry, reflex." She quickly reversed the spell and let her free.
"It's okay. Like I said, it was well-deserved." She paused, scanning her. Yep, no green. "Hey, can you hold out your arm for a sec?"
"Uh, sure." Amity held out her arm, and Luz reached out and gave her a pinch. "Ow! Luz! What was that for?"
"Sorry," Luz apologized, grinning. She did feel a little bad about pinching her, especially because Amity hadn't known to wear green. Same with Gus; she hadn't really considered that before. "It's St. Patrick's day, and in human tradition you have to wear green or else you'll get pinched." She held out her hands and made a grabbing motion, like in that one note scene at the beginning of Enchanting Grom Fright. Ah, that was such a cool episode. It was groundbreaking, definitely a huge part of Disney's history.
Anyways, Luz added, "I'm a crab," afterwards, and then Amity replied with, "Oh. Okay then."
"I'm sorry for pinching you, I know you didn't know to wear green today," Luz said, feeling apologetic.
"It's alright. Sorry for trapping you in abomination goo," Amity said.
"It's okay." Luz thought for a moment, then grinned. She grabbed her girlfriend's arm and said, "Hey, y'know what I just thought of?"
Amity gave her a loving gaze. "What?"
"If you still had your green hair, you wouldn't be able to get pinched."
Amity considered this. "Oh. Yeah, I guess so."
"I'm glad you changed it, though. Purple suits you way better," Luz added, smiling at her with adoration in her eyes.
Amity blushed. "Yeah," she said, smiling back at her, "I think so too."
A/N: Here, a random, spontaneous crack-ish oneshot I started and finished writing in one day. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
