When faced with this question, we must analyze all possible answers:

"Yes"--straight to the point (or shall I say gay to the point).

"No"--letting down potential girlfriend. Good if you're not a woman who loves women, bad if you are.

"*incoherent rambling*"--not preferable. Exposes awkward side in a way that would confuse and alarm possible girlfriend. Also, just embarrassing (the only plus side is if potential girlfriend thinks it's cute).

"Do you?"--mysterious, flirty. Doesn't give a clear answer, but puts the potential girlfriend in the spotlight.

And what does Amity Blight choose to go with? The incoherent rambling. Who could've guessed?

Amity Blight has made a crucial mistake in this rare lesbean encounter. She has chosen the rambly awkward option.
