Third person POV:

Four of them have arrived at the parking lot and headed straight to the van driven by Colet. Mikha was puzzled because they were only four, yet they brought a big van. Gwen sensed Mikha's curiosity about their vehicle and noticed her raised eyebrow.

Gwen: "This is the vehicle Ate Colet brought since we also brought our belongings. We haven't seen the house Tito bought, so we're moving there just now katulad mo." Gwen explained with a tilt of her head.

Just as Colet opened the back of the van, three large bags were visible. Colet helped Mikha with her things, while Gwen took the passenger seat and Jhoanna sat in the second row.

After arranging the luggage at the back of the van, Colet took the driver's seat and Mikha settled in the third row. Mikha was actually planning to sit at the far end, which was the spot she always preferred when riding the van, but she remembered the four of them needed to discuss something.

5 minutes later...

Several minutes passed without any of them speaking. Mikha was waiting for them to explain, but she sensed that the others were nervous, fearing she might still be angry with them. So, she decided to break the silence.

Mikha: "Gweneth, talk." She said, surprising Gwen.

Gwen: "Um, where do you want to start, Mikha?"

Mikha: "When you and Nicolette suddenly left the team." She said emotionlessly.

Gwen: "We really shouldn't have done that, Mikhs, but-"

Mikha: "But you did." She interjected.

Gwen: "Yes, we did it because our family was being targeted by the people who killed Tita, Ate Pat, and Kuya Enzo." She explained, surprising Mikha. "I wasn't supposed to distance myself from you back then, Mikhs. But your Dad begged me to stay away from you because he knew you didn't want us in danger. Ayaw naman sundin, pero wala kaming magawa." She continued.

Gwen's POV:

*Flashback*

I woke up in the morning because of the voices outside my room. I was so curious that I went out of the room and there I saw Uncle John talking to my parents.

Dad: "Baka hindi pumayag si Gwen sa hiling mo, Mr. Lim. You know and I know that our children can't be separated."

"What's happening here?" I butted into the conversation of the adults, surprising them with my sudden appearance.

Uncle John: "Gweneth, Ija. I'm asking for a favor, could you, Colet and Jhoanna keep your distance from Mikha for a while? If possible, treat her as if you don't know her. I know you and Mikha will understand once we explain it to her, but I don't know how long that will last. There's no certainty." He pleaded with me, catching me off guard.

"Why, Tito? You know that we can't be separated po."

Tito John: "Ija, I've entered the world of politics, the political world is too dangerous. Many threat letters and messages have been arriving, and if I don't stop my presidential campaign, the people around my family will get involved." Uncle's explanation with concern surprised me. "All the senders of these messages, they know all of my children's friends. They know you. Mikhaela is my youngest and everyone knows the special bond I have with her, so those around her are being targeted by the message senders." He added.
