Chapter 49 - Batangas 1

Mikha's pov:

I woke up na wala akong kasama sa Cabin. Where are they? Hindi naman ako nananaginip na ako lang mag-isa dito diba? I said at the back of my mind.

This place is one of my favorite place. My mother owns this resort and gave it to me.

This place was full of good memories with my family, when they were still alive, when we were complete.

But now, I wanted to start a new chapter. I wanted to have a good memories with my new family. My friends.

They helped me through a lot, even though I never tell them how much they have helped me. I repay them by taking care of them.

I love them so much that I wouldn't trade them for an expensive item because they are the most precious thing that the world could never buy.

It's already 7:30 pm and a notification caught my attention. A message from ate Maloi. Weird. First time magmessage ni ate Maloi. We know each other but we didn't exchange messages. Did something happen?

Because of curiosity and concern, I opened the message and to my surprise, I immediately sat up because of what I saw.

"Damn it! Bakit ba kasi ako natulog!" I pulled my hair because of annoyance. Paano kung nabastos siya? For sure, madaming nakatingin sa kanya. Baka may pumorma sa kanya. Baka may mag-aya sa kanya at kung saan dalhin. I said at the back of my mind. Overthinking about the possibilities that Aiah may get into trouble. Or you just don't want someone to look at Aiah the way you look at her. You just want Aiah's full attention to you. My mind said.

"ARGHH! Bakit hindi ba kasi ako ginising nung tatlo?! Palabasin ko sila sa resort eh!" Dahil dito, nagmadali akong magbihis dahil baka maabutan ko pa si Aiah para masabihan ko itong magpalit ng damit.

"OUCH! TANGINA!" I suddenly shouted because of pain. "Shit! Kung minamalas ka nga naman oh!" I just opened the upper closset to get a hoodie and then I bent down to tie my shoelace, because I'm in a hurry, I forgot to close the upper closet. So when I stood straight, the edge of the closet door hit my back big time.

Kahit na nakangiwi na ang mukha ko dahil sa sakit, hindi ko na ito pinansin at nagmadaling lumabas ng cabin.

Napatigil ako sa aking pwesto, they are all here sa veranda ng cabin. They were laughing and cooking dinner. Naka-onesies na rin sila. Wait, akala ko ba nagswimming sila? Are you stupid, Mikhaela? Malamang! Tapos na, gabi na eh!

Maloi: "Ayan! Gising na siya!" She said while grilling some fish with Gwen. Habang ako ay nasa pinto pa rin at tila napahinto. Panaginip ba yung message?

Bigla namang napadaan si ate Colet sa harap ko na may dalang hilaw na barbecue.

Colet: "Anyare sayo beh? Rinig ko mga mura mo sa loob." Sambit nito habang nakakunot ang noo.

Instead of answering her, I looked at a different direction to see kung nandito siya.

And there she is, playing card games with the rest.

Sheena: "HAHAHAHA +4 ka Staku." She said while laughing in a high pitch tone.

Stacey: "Hoy hindi ako! +8 ka ate Aiah." Sambit nito at naglapag ng baraha.

Aiah: "Huy! Anong ako, +12 ka Jhoanna." Sambit nito na ikinasimangot ng isa kaya tawang-tawa ang tatlo.

Jhoanna: "Kanina pa ako natatalo! Ibang game naman!" She said dahilan para lalong mapatawa ang tatlo.
