Chapter 80 - Day 10

Aiah's POV:

Today's our free day since JUF gave us a week of health break. We have been experiencing tragedies, and a break is a huge contribution for our peace, especially for the safety of other students.

Me and my friends do not want innocent people to get involved in our own problems.

Besides, rest is a must. Everyone deserves to rest. Reminding ourselves to have a peace of mind for doing something good every day.

This is the 10th day of Mikhaela's courting and Angelo's 3rd day of sending me red roses with a letter. The first time Angelo send, I did not get the chance to read the letter because Mikha literally told Manang to throw the flower. This is also the third day of Mikha keeping herself to keep calm everytime Angelo's gift arrived.

Sheena: “Hala, Mikhs. Nakikipagcompete talaga sayo si Angelo.” She said while we are reading Angelo's letter, except Mikha who's at the corner with a furrowed eyebrows and crossed arms.

Stacey: “Ayyy, Mikha. Ang lalim mag-english ni Angelo dito oh. Payag ka no'n? Natatalo ka sa pag spokening dollar?” She teased the latter that made her eyebrows deeper.

Mikha: “Tss. At least nagpapakita ako kay Aiah. Siya nakatago lang!” Parang batang pagmamayabang nito.

Colet: “Ahhh so gusto mong magkita sila ni Aiah?” She asked that made Mikha's eye widened.

Mikha: “NOOOO! I-i mean. It's not my decision if Aiah will accept his invitation.” She blurted out making me and our friends laugh. Really love to see her jealous side.

Jhoanna: “Ayun naman pala eh, go na ate Aiah. May chance pa para magbago isip mo kay Mikhaela.” She teased her best friend.

“HAHAHA kayo talaga. I don't like him kahit dati pa, Maloi knows that.”

Maloi: “Oo beh, 'wag ka na dun. Sasampalin kita 'pag pinayagan mo 'yang lumapit sa'yo.” Inis na sabi nito.

Mikha: “Buti pa ako mabait.” Pagpaparinig nito and her friends were laughing at her.

Gwen: “Maniwala! Balita ko ang dami mong chix sa US.” She revealed.

Mikha: “Heyyy! I've changed! That's not me!” Inis na pagdadahilan nito.

Stacey: “Sure ka ba dyan beh? 'Di mo ba lolokohin si ate Aiah namin?” She asked.

Mikha: “Oo nga! I've been doing my best to change for Aiah and myself, I swear to God, mamatay man ako.” She said, stomping her feet. Annoyed about the teasing.

Sheena: “Chill beh, inaasar ka lang namin HAHAHAH boto kami sa'yo.”

Gwen: “So ano gagawin natin sa mga regalo ni Angelo?” She asked me so I turned my gaze to Mikha, telling her that she has the rights to do what she wants on Angelo's gift.

Mikha: “Tapon niyo na! Mas maganda pa tulips dyan ehhh, ako pa may gawa. Bakit, does he know how to make ligaw? Does he know how to ride a jeep? Does he know how to eat street foods?” Utos at pagpaparinig nito kaya tawang-tawa kami. She's frustrated about Angelo's gift, akala niya siguro malalamangan siya ng isa.

Jhoanna: “HAHAHAHHA ang lala ng pagka-jelly beh.”

Sheena: “HAHAHAHHA daming pinapatunayan beh. Ate Aiah, pahirapan mo nga.”

Stacey: “Oo nga ate Aiah, pahirapan mo 'yan! HAHAHHA.”

Gwen: “Actually, Mikhs. Dapat nag-ask ka muna ng permission kela tito at tita kung pwede mo ligawan si ate Aiah. Ganoon ang version ng panliligaw dito sa pilipinas.” She stated that made Mikha curious and stopped from comparing herself and Angelo.
