Third person POV:
Everyone gathered at the living room, holding a book, a pen, or notes. Seriousness on their faces can make you shiver in fear.
Even their safety are not certain, they still do not want to neglect their studies. From what they believed, one thing that no one can ever take away is education.
From their perspective, a human's wealth cannot be taken to heaven, human wealth can be depleted, but the knowledge that a human learned can be passed on, and served as the best wealth until death.
They are humans too, a normal human being. The only difference is, they are all a well-known person. Everyone is watching their moves, having a simple mistake can lead to a huge pile of judgment, ignoring the good deeds of their family name and continuing to bring them down. This actually happens in our daily life, regardless of what life status you have, there are still people who try to pause what you are working on.
Mikha: “Are you afraid of death?” She asked out of nowhere.
Aiah stopped writing because of the younger's random question. Frowned at what Mikha asked.
Aiah: “Uhm, that's deep. You know?”
Mikha: “Sorry about that. You don't have to answer it, just suddenly crossed my mind.” She said, trying to change the topic.
Aiah: “I'm okay with your question, I was just surprised, and I'm taking my time choosing the right words po kasi eh.” She explained while looking at the serious face of her suitor.
Aiah: “Well, I'm not scared of death. If it's my time, it's my time. I can't stop or change God's plan for me.....” She paused but Mikha is still waiting for her to add more, not satisfied of Aiah's answer. “But I'm scared of not achieving my dreams and wants before I die, and I'm scared if someone close to me dies. It's hard kasi na yung kasama at dahilan mo sa kasiyahan ay magiging dahilan lang rin ng iyong kalungkutan kung mamamatay sila. I think I can't handle that.” Mikha suddenly swallowed, she felt her throat dried, processing what she heard.
Sheena: “Sorry haaa, pero pwede bang makisapaw sa q and a niyo?” She politely intervened in the conversation between the two. Aiah and Mikha did not notice that their friends were also listening to what they were talking about.
Mikha: “Go on, I also wanna here more answers naman eh.” She answered the younger.
Sheena: “Medj same lang kay Ate Aiah, just wanna share my thoughts hehe. Well.... dati kasi, hindi ako takot mamatay, actually gustong-gusto ko na ngang sumama noon kay Mommy eh Haha.” She laughed bitterly. The seven girls, seeing and hearing everything saddened them, especially Colet. “I also thought and search things sa google how to Haha.” She shared. She was just sitting on the floor, looking at the ceiling, preventing her tears to fall down because of the past.
Sheena: “Pero nagbago lahat. Isang araw, nagising nalang ako na takot na akong mamatay.” She said and faced the girls. “I have someone to hold onto. You girls, taught me how to live again. Kaya ngayon takot na akong mamatay, baka kasi pag namatay ako, mamiss ko yung mga bonding nating walo HAHAHAH.” She joked to make the atmosphere light.
Gwen: “Same goes here, akala ko mamamatay na ako nung nakidnap ako. These scars remind me of you guys....” She said, showing off her scars. “Pangit man tingnan pero wala na akong pake. These scars remind me of how I fight for my life kahit na wala akong laban. These scars kept on reminding me na I chose a right and great group of friends. Ni-minsan, hindi ko pinagsisihan na naging friends ko kayo noong nakikipaglaban ako kay kamatayan HAHAHA..... Takot akong mamatay ng hindi pa ako sinasagot ni Maloi.” She expressed and her last statement made everyone laugh.
