Chapter 14 - Park

Aiah's POV:

It's Wednesday and 4 days ago was the last time na sobra akong nag-alala sa taong 'di ko naman ka close.

Kamusta na kaya siya? 'Di ko siya nakikita tuwing break time. Okay lang ba siya? Bulong ko sa aking isip.

Ding dong...

As always, expected na nandito na ang tres marites na madadaldal.

Sheena: "Good morning, tita! Namiss po kita." She greeted while giving her tightest hug to my mother.

Mommy: "Good morning, Sheena bunso." She greeted back and I'm glad that Sheena can still feel the love of a mother after all she has been through.

Stacey: "I miss you too mother nature, the goddess, the mother of the goddesses, the mother earth, the mothership, Mrs. Arceta!" She said with a little spice on her introduction. Hays, so kikay talaga.

Maloi: "Good morning tita, 'di ko na po sasabayan energy nung dalawa dahil 20 na po ako and as a good and mahinhin na girl lang po ako." She stated innocently as if she's not one of the talkative in our group.

"You three always pester our peaceful home every day tapos kung makamiss kayo kay Mommy parang nangibang-bansa lang!" Sabi ko sabay irap sa kanila.

Mommy: "Hay nako, mga college na kayo pero parang mga High School pa rin kayo!" Sabi nito na malawak ang ngiti sa aming apat.

Stacey: "Kayo rin po Tita, 'di po kayo nagbabago. Mukhang teenager pa rin po kayo." Pangbobola nito kay Mommy.

Sheena: "Luh nambola ka pa, gusto mo lang makikain. Pero Tita, ang sexy niyo pa rin po ngayon, what's the secret po?" Dagdag pangbobola rin nito. I can't with these girls.

Maloi: "To summarize everything po Tita. Gutom lang po talaga yung dalawa hehe." Sambit nito na ikinatawa ni Mommy.

"Nahiya pa kayong sabihin na makikikain kayo eh halos ang kapal na nga ng mukha niyo na kumain dito araw-araw tapos magsspeech pa kayo ng pambobola kay Mommy." Sabi ko sabay irap sa kanila which filled our home with joyful laughters while my mother started preparing our breakfast.

Mommy: "Kain na kayo rito mga anak." As usual, she still invited my friends.

Habang kumakain ay may naalala naman si Sheena.

Sheena: "Ummm Tita." She called. Hearing the tone of her voice, it must be something serious. "D-death anniversary po kasi ni M-mommy sa Saturday. Pwede ko po bang isama si ate Aiah po papunta kay Mommy? Kasama ko din po sila Ate Maloi and Stacku." She asked which made the table in silence. We were surprised about her opening up about her mother.

Sheena always keeps her life private, she don't want anyone to worry, she don't want to be a burden to us. Even the death anniversary of her mother wasn't mentioned to us before, not until now.

Mommy: "Oo naman, anak." Sagot nito na ikinangiti ni Sheena. "I'm sure payag rin yan si Aiah." She added and I immediately nodded. "And Sheena, welcome ka sa bahay na ito, kung gusto mo ng kasama, bukas ang bahay na ito para sa iyo anak haa. 'Wag ka mahiya, parte ka na ng pamilya namin." Sabi ni Mommy habang si Sheena ay nagpipigil ng luha.
