Chapter 29

Hudson's POV

She feels the same. I just know it. She kissed me back and I can't let go of her because she's going to get engaged to another guy she doesn't feel this way about. I will talk with her!

As I walk from my room directly into Meredith's I see her. She's sitting with legs crossed on the bed and is reading a book. Even if I'm not into reading, she just looks pretty this way. When she looks at me, I forget for a second what I wanted to say.

"Hudson?" She says confused.

"Ashley, I want to talk with you about that ki..."

"Alright, I'm done so now we can try it again to watch a film!" Meredith walks in with a towel on her head and says loudly.

"Hudson? Why are you here?" She asks after she sees me.

"Well, I heard you want to watch a film... Can I watch it with you?" I lie and plan what I should do to get her talking to me.

"Oh, ok sure thing," Meredith says but Ashley throws her a look.

"Which film should we watch then?" Meredith asks me.

"I don't care," I answer.

"Something romantic please," Ashley says. Obviously, she wants that. They're her favorite.

"That's for sure!" Meredith laughs. And of course my sister's too. They both look at me but I'm not sure what they want me to say.

"What?" I ask.

"You can choose, stupid," Meredith says and Ashley laughs. I roll my eyes.

"Alright, I guess you don't even have an idea what romantic is so..." Meredith says playfully.

"I am romantic!" I say, but don't know if I mean it. But I want to impress Ashley, so I try.

"Oh, ok then. Which film should we watch?" Ashley asks playfully. I know which film she likes the most because she told me.

"Everything Everything," I say and smile at her. Her playful smile is gone but her cheeks get red.

"Oh, I have to admit that's a good one!" Meredith says and immediately gets her computer. We are still looking at each other until Meredith screams with happiness and we immediately turn to her.

"I found it!!" She says.

"I get some snacks," Ashley says and stands up putting her book in the nightstand.

"I will help you," I say and walk out with her. She doesn't look happy about my decision, but I don't care. We walk quietly down the stairs and arrive in the kitchen without saying a word.

"About yesterday..." She breaks the silence.

"I'm sorry." I interrupt her before she says something that hurts me.

"What?" She says looking disappointed, I guess. Did she enjoy it? I hope so because I did a lot.

"I'm sorry for kissing you without asking but... I really like you and didn't want you to kiss someone else. It makes me insanely jealous just seeing you hanging out with a guy." I apologize. It's not a very good apology but I want to be honest. She looks confused at me.

"Well, you could've told me this before you kissed me! And what do you think of me? That I will just kiss other guys here while Kerem is waiting for me in Switzerland?" She whispers angrily.

"No, I know you're not like this, but I couldn't hold myself back..." I stop talking and regret the last words. It sounded way better in my head. Now I sound like a pervert. She looks now much more confused than she did before.

"I'm sorry but I don't regret it." I say quickly and hope this won't sound as bad as the other sentence. She looks now angrily at me and opens her mouth to say something.

"Ok, guys, we're watching it in the living room because the internet is not connecting well in my room." Meredith interrupts our conversation. Ashley is looking at me with wide eyes. We both obviously hope she didn't hear anything.

We get snacks and watch Everything, everything. We just have three couches in our living room. Meredith is laying on the biggest one with three seats of course. Ashley and I sit on one couch with two seats because the one with one seat is not really comfortable to hang out on. I guess Ashley is not feeling comfortable now that I'm sitting next to her but she doesn't say anything so I leave it like this.

Meredith falls asleep after 20 minutes of the movie as I could have predicted. I show Ashley and we both start to laugh at her. When in the movie the main characters kiss we stare at each other. I guess we think the same right now. I look deeply into her eyes and move near her. I move my hand to her jaw and want to kiss her.

"What are you doing?" Meredith asks.
