Chapter 32

Hudson's POV

"EX-Girlfriend!" I immediately say.

Why is Monika here? I thought I wouldn't see her ever again after we broke up. She's a total psycho. The time we were together she was spying on me because she thought I would cheat on her. When I went to the grocery store with Meredith after we'd been together for three months she finally came out of hiding and I found out that she stalked me all the time.

I couldn't break up with her because her older brother forced me to be with her forever. I tried everything to get rid of her, but nothing worked so I had to leave the town and went to Washington. I said that I want to become a popular singer, but I never really had an interest in becoming anything popular. I just had a friend that became an actor, and I was his manager, so I made a lot of money.

Now here she is terrorizing me again. I have to get rid of her again, but I don't have any idea how. Oh! I have one but I hope Ashley will be on board with me.

"Monika, this is my girlfriend Ashley." I tell her. While they both immediately look angry at me I just grab Ashley's wrist so we can leave before she says something that will ruin everything.

"We have a lot to do for our engagement so goodbye." I say waving at Monika and drag Ashley and her cross face with me outside of the store. When we're outside she gets her wrist out of my hand and stops me.

"What was that? And who was she?" Ashley asks with crossed arms.

"Can I please explain it in the car? I'm afraid she's spying on us." I beg. Ashley lets go of her crossed arms and changes her look from angry to worried in seconds. When she nods and we arrive at the car I explain to her the whole story and that I panicked so that's why I lied about Ashley being my fiancée. She felt bad and is not even mad at me for lying.

"I totally understand you now. I'm really sorry about that. Does your family know about it?" She asks.

"Not my parents but Meredith does." I say. And the moment we mention Meredith she's calling Ashley.

"Where are you guys?" Meredith says after Ashley picked up her phone and clicked the speaker.

"We're in the car. We tell you when you're here." Ashley says and looks at me, worried. I hate seeing her dark blue eyes this worried and especially when it's because of me.

When Meredith comes and we tell her about Monika she's shaken but angry. Then I decided to tell her that I pretended Ashley and I are a couple.

"Perfect! When she saw that Ashley's way hotter than her she probably knows she's got no chance!" Meredith says and Ashley feels embarrassed. I like the way she flushes when she's embarrassed. It makes her look shy and that's kind of cute.

When we get home we are tired and just chill out for the rest of the day. It's Meredith's last night until she goes to this dumb camp and finally leaves me and Ashley alone. The next morning I drive her to the train station where she meets the rest of the camping idiots and Ashley wanted to come with us so she can say goodbye. They kiss and hug but almost cry. I stop them before it happens and finally, I get Ashley back to the parking lot.

"What do you want to do today?" I ask her happily. She still looks sad.

"I don't know. I guess I just want to rest at home." She says sadly. No! I want to enjoy every moment I get with her alone. I can't let her rest when we can have fun.

"Oh, come on Ashley. Let's go somewhere we never were or buy a lot of food to make at home an eating challenge at least." I suggest.

"I don't know..." She says.

"Hello love birds!" I hear Monika say from behind me. What is she doing here again?

"What do you want Monika?" I turn and frown at her.

"You know exactly what I want, dear. But first I want the truth about you two." She says with an evil smile.

Damn it! Not this again.
