Ashley's POV

I don't know what shocks me more. The way he told my family the truth, or that he said he loves me. But I shouldn't even think about that because I'm in really big trouble.

"You love who?!" Amar yells at him and wants to grab Hudson's shirt as Samir immediately gets between them. This is out of control, but I can't do anything. I'm still just staring at him, shocked, waiting until someone wakes me up and says it was all a nightmare. But no: this is real.

"Amar, stop! You heard it right. He loves Asli and I can tell that she loves him back. I know you are angry but when did Asli ever feel something for a guy? She always used to be lonely just because dad wanted this. And then he wanted to marry her off to her best friend whom she sees as a brother. How could we even be this selfish to get cross at her because she fell really in love for the first time?" Samir says to calm him.

"She's promised, Samir. You don't get it. If this guy ever is going to be in her life, father would get another heart attack and perhaps not be so lucky this time. And if Asli ever cared about her family she wouldn't risk falling for a guy she only just met." Amar argues. He's right. I really risked dad's Life and blame myself for this.

"What if Kerem wasn't her best friend since school? Then it would be the same or even worse. She would have to marry him without knowing who he is and that's better you think? Let's just give them a chance to prove it. And we promise if it doesn't work out then she will never see him again but if it does..."

"...They marry!" Mom yells from behind me. What?!

"They marry each other if it works out." She says.

"I was going to say we tell dad," Samir says.

"We'll tell dad anyway. We don't have to keep this as a secret from him." Amar says.

"Fine," Samir says. No way!

Hudson's POV:

"Wait, what?!" I yell. Everyone is quiet and they all stare at me like they've seen a ghost. Amar walks slowly towards me.

"You wanted to fall for our girl, now deal with the consequences or leave." He frowns at me. I stay quiet just not to cause him fighting me.

I love her. I really do but I'm not ready to marry her already. I mean we haven't even been a couple for one week.

"Tomorrow you're going to meet our father and tell him. All by yourself." Amar says to Ashley. She nods with glassy eyes, clearly afraid. She's almost crying and this guy is putting pressure on her like this. Now I know why she told me more about Samir then Amar.

I spend the night in their guest room after Samir asked me. Ashley's mother seems nice, but she's probably acting strict because she's afraid of Ashley's father.

Time flies and at 3 am I'm awake, thinking about this. Then I hear a gentle knock at the door. After some seconds Ashley walks in. She wears the same pajamas she wore in my house that night we watched a film for the first time together. I feel better when I see her and immediately stand up to hug her. She hugs me back tightly.

"I told you not to come, Hudson. I told you: you don't know my family. Why did you do this to us?" She cries in my arms.

"Shh. Calm down. I did this because I wanted to tell you that I love you. And yes, I was surprised about the promise Samir made, but we'll find a way out." I say to calm her. Let's go from me and looks with her cried out eyes at me.

"So, you don't want to marry me?" She says disappointedly.

"No, I never said that. I'm just not ready. We weren't even together for a week, Ashley. I don't even know your real name!" I try to joke so she smiles. But she's trying to hide her smile and distract herself with the serious situation we have right now.

"It's Asli Yilmaz. Meredith called me Ashley when we became friends because Asli was not easy for her to remember. And then Ashley became a nickname for many friends." She tells me. Now I get it.

"Ok, so do you like being called Asli or Ashley?" I ask, changing the subject.

"I like both names. But it depends on how people pronounce it." She answers.

"So how do I pronounce it, Asli?" I playfully ask and wrap my arms around her waist.

"You better stay with Ashley." She playfully smiles and holds her arms on my neck.

"Oh, ok I understand." I smile and act offended.

"I wasn't done. Because I love your British accent more than your broken Turkish." She chuckles.

"I don't know if you just flirted with me or insulted me." I say playfully. And she starts to laugh.

"I've missed your laugh. It's beautiful just like you are." I say and tuck a curl in her face behind her ear. I rest my hand on her jaw and for a moment we just stare at each other. I move to kiss her but the second I touch her lips somebody opens the door. And we both jump.

Fuck.
