Ashley's POV

I'm nervous. Samir is the only family member that liked Hudson from the beginning. He probably won't let him off the hook that easily. While I'm thinking about a good lie Hudson already has the lead of honesty and tells him the truth immediately.

"How could you let this happen?" Samir blames Hudson but he still tries to sound calm.

"Stop blaming him! It's over now and I'm fine. That's what you should care about, not more." I almost yell. Samir looks at the ground shamefully and I grab Hudson's hand. He looks up at me.

"Let's get in. You're coming." I say harshly. He nods and follows me.

As we get in my whole family doesn't recognize anything about what happened. So I decided to just not tell them if they don't ask. I know exactly that Samir would keep it for to himself. He won't tell anything without my permission.

I take Hudson with me into my room before my dad gets here so I can spend a little more time with him. I'm still holding his hand and stop in front of my bed and turn to face him. I let go of his hand and hug him instead. He immediately smiles and I let myself fall into my bed and pull him with me.

"Whoa!" He says with wide eyes while letting us fall. We both crack up and cuddle in my bed. My head is on his chest and I can hear his heart beating fast. I move my head up towards his and lean my chin on his chest instead.

"Are you nervous?" I ask playfully and giggle. He smiles.

"I'm always nervous when I'm around you. It's like I'm falling for you for the first time every time I see your beautiful smile." He says and tugs a strand of my hair that fell in front of my face behind my right ear.

"Seni seviyorum, Askim." I say and he looks confused when I realize I just spoke in Turkish.

"I understand Askim. That means like darling. But the other one?" He smiles curiously. I giggle.

"That means I love you." I say.

"Seni seviyorum." I repeat.

"Seni seviyorum, Askim." He says and my heart melts. His accent doesn't even sound bad.

Hudson's POV

As soon as Meredith tells us that Ashley's dad has arrived, I immediately head downstairs. I hang out a little with him in the living room and then Kerem comes to pick me up. I leave them and tell Kerem everything in the car. From the allergic reaction until Monika's texts.

"This woman is crazy! Why don't you call the police?" Kerem asks me.

"Because I don't want Ashley's family to find out. I made it till here. I can finally be with Ashley but this freakish little shit of an ex wants to flush everything down the toilet. I'm afraid, but I will protect her, I promise." I tell him about my fears. I really trust Kerem.

"I understand. And I will be here for you and her too so I'll help you if you need me." He offers.

"Thank you. And please don't tell anybody. I trust you and you can trust me too 100 percent. If something happens I had a reason and I did my best for Ashley. I love her." I say and he just nods.

At home, I lay on my bed and stare at the ceiling waiting for Ashley's call. Seconds later my phone rings as if she knew I was waiting. And I immediately pick up.

"Ashley?" I wait for her to answer.

"Hello, darling!" Someone with a playfully high voice is trying to sound like her. Then I hear a giggle in the background. It's obviously Meredith and I join in.

"Ok, sis give me my girl." I say playfully.

"Here she comes!"

"Askim?" She says. I love to listen to her talking Turkish. It's maybe a language I can't speak already but it sounds just so good on her.

"I love it when you call me that." I compliment her and she doesn't say a word which means she's flushing.

We don't talk much and say good night before we go to sleep. Since I'm in Zurich we started calling each other every night before we sleep. Ashley said she's been having those nightmares again since she's been back at home. She always sees the same thing. Some women wearing all black in a dark room and telling her to go away from 'him'. She still doesn't know who these women are or what they mean. I thought of doing a ritual with her to help her forget her dream and now it has become something important. It really helps her to forget about the nightmares and it even helps me to not miss her that much.

For three days I got nothing from Monika and I'm glad about it. But most importantly, Ashley and I are having our Islamic wedding ceremony today. She's not very religious but it's important in her culture that people marry according to Islamic tradition. They asked me if it's ok for me and I accepted it. I'm not very religious either so I don't mind.

I get ready in a black suit and a perfume Ashley likes. Meredith is at Ashley's house because they have to wear a hijab for the mosque. Actually, just women who are Muslims have to, but Meredith wants to wear one too. I messed with her a little by saying that she's only wearing one to impress Kerem, but she just punched me and left.

Someone knocks at my door after Meredith leaves, and I open it. Kerem comes in and sits on my bed.

"Are you ready, buddy?" He says. We've started to call each other buddies since we become close friends. Ashley is very proud of our friendship.

"Yeah, I just have to do my hair and I'm done." I say and continue looking in the mirror.

"No, I mean are you ready to finally marry." He chuckles. Good question.

"Well, I'm very nervous. I've never married a woman before if you didn't know." I join his chuckle.

"Why? Is marrying men less stressful for you?" He cracks up with laugher.

"You asshole!" I join in.

"Did Monika text you again?" Kerem asks after some minutes of laughing.

"No and I hope she won't. I'm worried she isn't going to plan something to destroy our day again." I say and hear footsteps going quickly downstairs.

Kerem and I immediately look at the door and stare back to each other with wide eyes. As he stands up and opens the door, I notice Meredith's back.

Fuck!
