Ashley's POV
Deniz my little daughter just ran on ahead because she saw something that I didn't understand but she was already on her way to show me. I was so afraid when I suddenly didn't see her. She was somewhere but not in my sight. Kerem and I searched and called.
And then I see her. A guy is kneeling in front of her. His hair. His kind of style. No way. It can't be him. When he finally turns around to see who's calling my heart gets stuck. Hudson. He immediately stands up and looks as shaken as I am. Deniz runs again and hugs me but I can't move. I'm frozen.
"Anne?" Deniz says and Hudson looks at her, shaken. He knows exactly that she just said 'mother' in Turkish. I'm afraid he knows everything just with this word.
"Deniz? Where were you? Your mother and I were so worried about you." Kerem says as he finally finds us. He's standing behind Hudson but the second Deniz gets into Kerem's arms Hudson turns again to see him. I can see the change in Kerem's look from a smile to seriousness.
"Hudson? What are you doing here?" He says but I can't tell if he's angry or just curious.
"I-I... I came to see... my family." He stutters and I realize tears falling onto my cheeks. His family? The family he left or the family he embarrassed? Did he just really notice what happened since he left or does he still need some time to get it. Because I hope he never will. Once he finds out he would probably take her away from me.
I come back to the moment I grab Deniz and walk somewhere far away from him. I can hear Kerem yelling my name from behind me, but I continue walking. As I realize my daughter's innocent and scared look I stop. What am I doing? I'm running away from the problem, yes. But is it worth it? Is it worth scaring my only child like this? No, it's not. I kneel down and hug her tightly.
"I'm so sorry, Birtanem!" I say and start crying. She comforts me and I can feel her heart beating fast.
"Anne, what's wrong? Were you scared because I talked to this stranger? I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you upset. I just wanted to apologize to him that I ran into him. I'm so sorry this won't happen again, I promise." Deniz moves away from me and smiles. She holds out her little finger. She wants to do the pinky promise.
I can't hold my proud smile and give her my little finger. She smiles even more and hugs me right after. When Kerem appears he doesn't question anything. We just walk out and get a taxi.
Hudson's POV
"Why did you do this to her? Why, Hudson? I thought you were a good influence." He disappointedly said when Ashley ran away with... her daughter. Yeah, I understood when this little cute girl called her 'Anne'. And when Kerem came I understood that he's the father. How could I even expect that she won't marry him and have a family? Anyway, I'm glad she did. I would be more worried if she didn't move on because of me. I deserve to end up alone but she doesn't.
"I did it for her good. And as I see she has created a family with you. Congratulations. Please make her happy for me." I said and my eyes were filled with tears but I tried to hold them back.
"You owe her the truth," Kerem said and walked away angrily. He's right, but I can't.
Now I'm standing in front of my house. I'm hesitating about whether I should go inside. I want Ashley to be happy but I can't sit and watch how happy she is with Kerem instead of me. This would be our visit to my family and Deniz would be our daughter. Kerem and Meredith would be together and anything would be in the right place. But I ruined everything.
I decide to enter the house without even ringing the doorbell. When my mother opens the door and sees me she immediately gets emotional.
"Hello mother." I say and hug her.
"What are you doing here? I thought you would be coming later." She says sounding kind of annoyed. Probably because of Ashley.
"I thought of surprising you." I say and don't leave her arms. I don't want her to realize that I cried before my arrival.
"Oh, ok." She says unhappily. I knew it. She's here. The second I leave her arms this little girl shows up again.
"Hudson!" Deniz yells surprised and runs to the door. I kneel and she surprisingly hugs me. I feel a very good bond to her but my mother cries even more.
"Are you the uncle Anne told me I would meet?" She says after leaving my arms. And I am a little confused so I look up at my mother.
"No, sweetheart. You are talking about your uncle Trevor and aunt Camille who will come over tomorrow to meet you." She talks to her but I get more confused about why she says this to her. How are Trevor and Camille even related to Ashley? I probably missed more about their friendship and now she's calling them her cousins too.
"So why is Hudson here, grandma?" Deniz asks. Grandma? What is going on here? My mother stares at me like she's seen a ghost.
"I think you should ask your mother." She says and breaks down in tears. Then she walks away and Kerem comes from the living room. Everything goes so fast, I'm so confused right now.
"Kerem Abi? Why is grandma crying?" This innocent and worried girl asks Kerem. But did she just call him Abi? Like 'brother' in Turkish? What did I miss?
"Deniz, go upstairs to aunt Meredith and your mother, please." He says and she does what he told her to do.
"Kerem, what is going on? Tell me now!" I yell and he forces me out of the house.
"I won't tell you anything. Ashley will. And after she told you the truth, it's your turn to tell her about Monika." Kerem says with an attitude. I'm surprised that he even has one. I'm speechless.
Kerem walks back into the house and when I want to follow Ashley walks out as if it's been planned. She has bloodshot eyes as she's been crying.
"It's been five years." She breaks the silence with a cracking voice. I shake my head.
"Five years, one week, two days." I say and my eyes fill with tears. She almost starts crying but gasps for breath. I feel like I haven't breathed since I saw her last time.
"I'm sorry that you found out like this." She says but doesn't mean to apologize. That was more sarcastic.
"Finding out what? About you and Kerem's newly created family?" I say madly and immediately wipe a tear away before she notices. She changes her look from upset to confused.
"What? You thought I married? And even Kerem? I thought you know me well enough. I wouldn't do this to Meredith and him! And most importantly, I wouldn't do this to our child!" Ashley comes close to yelling. Wait, what?
"Our child? This little girl inside is my daughter?" I say shocked. Ashley is stuc
