Ashley's POV

Where did she just come from? This Hudson's psycho ex-girlfriend is literally scaring me. How could he even have ever felt anything for her, though?

"I already told you she's my girlfriend and soon to be fiancée. God! What's wrong with you?" He gets angry but I know he's panicking anyway.

"Well, where are your rings?" She asks.

"As if I'm going to explain myself to you. Mind your own business, you freak!" I never knew Hudson could be this mean. She must have gotten on his last nerve. Monika walks nearer to me. I hate to admit it but I'm afraid of her next action.

"Just because you're pretty doesn't mean you can get my man, barbie. He's mine." She threatens. Hudson gets between us and hugs me.

"Monika, don't make me call the security and leave now!" Hudson frowns. She listens and walks finally away.

Hudson tries to calm me down while we're driving back home. As we arrive we don't know what to do. I guess I'm just studying a little and read my book. He probably would be mad but actually, I don't care about this after his crazy ex threatened me.

I walk into Meredith's room and start to study. After one hour I still don't hear anything about Hudson. First I want to check out if he's ok but then I figure out maybe it's one of his plans to get me to hang out with him. So I stay a little stubborn and continue reading my book. I read but I don't feel good at it. I am way too worried. What if something happened to him? I can't just stay here like I don't care. After this thought, I stand up and leave my book on the bed.

"Hudson?" I yell so he could hear me even if he's downstairs. But no answer comes.

"Hudson where are you?" I yell again. But don't get an answer.

"Hudson, please stop fooling around with me I'm getting worried!" I yell angrily and afraid at the same time. I walk downstairs but there is nobody. Suddenly, I hear something coming from the garage. I jump up and immediately grab a pan I saw on the island in the kitchen. I'm literally shaking.

"Hello? Is somebody there?" I yell and walk slowly the way to the garage. I don't see anybody there.

"Are you looking for something?" Suddenly someone says behind me. I jump up and turn to almost hit him with the pan before I see it's Hudson.

"Woah, chill out, it's me!" Hudson says with wide eyes. I let the pan fall on the ground and immediately hug him.

"I'm so glad it's just you. I was so worried. Where were you?" I hit him with my hand on his arm. I know he's smiling.

"I'm sorry for scaring you. I just bought some snacks so we can watch a film or something and eat them. And ingredients for dinner. I'm going to cook for us." He says. Hudson can cook? Wow, that's impressive.

"Don't leave me alone again!" I say, still shaking from the whole thing that just happened.

"I won't do this again, I promise." He says and holds my head in his hands. He looks deep into my eyes and kisses my forehead. Then he hugs me again tightly. I wish we would stay like this the whole evening.

After I realize that we're standing now for more than five minutes in front of the garage hugging each other, I make the move to end it. We walk into the house and he unpacks the stuff he bought.

"Do you want to watch a film right now or after dinner?" He asks.

"After dinner would be better. I was planning on studying right now." I explain and he continues putting the snacks into the kitchen cupboard.

With no words, I go back upstairs and continue reading. After 30 minutes I finish some chapters and put my book back to my bag. In some way, I couldn't focus on my book. I thought of finishing a chapter and then go help Hudson out a little with making dinner. As I walk down he's still in the kitchen cooking.

"What are you cooking?" I finally ask.

"Spaghetti carbonara." He says proudly.

"Oh, I've eaten that a lot in the daycare centre. I love it." I say wondering if I ever mentioned that I was a daycare worker. Probably I did because I know about his profession so he may know about mine too.

"I hope you love mine too." He says trying to flirt with me.

"We'll see." I say playfully.

I walk through the kitchen to get myself some water. As he suddenly grabs my wrist, turns me to face him, and leans me back on the kitchen desk. And the last thing I can remember is his lips on mine.
