Chapter 47

When Hope and Lizzie ran into the front of the school they saw everyone looking out the windows at something or should she say, someone.

The auburn ran up to a window and pulled down the blinds and peered through seeing Maya and Alaric standing in the front of the school with an army of malivore monsters standing behind them.

"How the hell did they make it past the barrier spells..." Hope mumbled as she watched them carefully.

"I see you," Maya said making eye contact with Hope.

"Why don't you come on out for me, let me see that pretty face" she smiled.

After the girl doesn't see Hope walk out she crosses her arms "come out before I do something drastic."

After one makes a move a grin appears on Maya's face.

"It would be a shame if something happened to Josie... and your children who are in New Orleans right now."

"Fuck" the auburn said before turning to Lizzie "I've got to go out there."

"Go" the blonde nodded.

Hope took a deep breath before she opened the school's front door and took a step out.

"There she is the almighty tribrid!" the curly-haired girl said in a mocking tone.

"Let's get this over with, what do you want" she glared.

"What I've wanted since that last time I was alive, you."

"That would never happen in a million years, I'm happily engaged to a woman I love."

"I thought you'd say that," Maya says before turning to a witch that was standing behind her in a dark cloak.

As the witch raised her hand with an orb of magic Hope heard a loud noise followed by Lizzie and a bunch of the other witches running out and chanting a big spell.

Maya, Alaric, and the other monster around them were all frozen.

The auburn turned to her future sister-in-law with a questioning gaze.

"It's not gonna last long they are way more powerful than the spell we need to think fast," she said before nodding her head in the direction of the school before running in.

Hope followed the girl into the school, and to the library.

"Holy crap! I knew they were coming but I didn't think this soon!" MG said as he paced around the room.

"We are screwed aren't we?" Jed said running his hand through his hair.

"No, no we aren't- we'll come up with something we will..." Hope said.

"They are right outside! whatever you have come up with think fast" MG said.

"We could put a barrier around them?" Lizzie suggested.

"We did that already they got through it remember?" Jed said crossing his arms.

"We could-" Lizzie started only to be cut off by Hope.

"I know what we could do... and I know it would work..." she said slowly.

Everyone's eyes looked towards the auburn.
