"Q, we're back!" Puck called as he closed the front door behind Beth.

"Welcome back." Quinn said softly as she greeted Beth with a hug and a kiss before hugging Puck.

"How was everything here?" Puck wondered when they parted.

"Fine." Quinn shrugged. "How were the services?"

"Fine." Puck answered. "Beth was really brave."

Quinn smiled slightly.

"I'm gonna unpack, but then I'll start dinner." Puck said.

"Okay."

-

"Is it cool with you if I go out tonight?" Puck asked Quinn as they cleaned up from dinner.

"Sure." Quinn nodded. "You don't need my permission or anything."

"I know, but I don't want you to think I'm ditching you." Puck clarified. "Especially if you or the baby need me."

"Well, he's staying put for a couple more months." Quinn promised. "And I'm fine."

"Are you sure you don't mind?" Puck wondered.

"I'm sure." Quinn said. "I'll hang out with Beth."

"Okay." Puck replied.

"Okay." Quinn repeated.

The pair finished cleaning up from dinner, and then Puck said goodbye to the girls and left.

Puck took a car to the bar and headed inside. He ordered a whiskey, chugging it and ordering a second while he sat alone at the bar.
