Addison got into Jordan's car and quietly looked out the window, afraid to say anything that might ruin the mood. Jordan too.
"Addie?" Jordan suddenly called.
"Huh?" Addison turned to Jordan, a little surprised.
"What should we have for breakfast?" Jordan asked.
"Uh... I'm not sure..." Addison awkwardly said.
"How does McRonalds sound?"
'Again?' Addison thought to herself before speaking. "Sure." She ended up saying.
She decided to get waffles this time.

Addison ate her waffles, not sure if she should speak or just silently read a manga on her phone to avoid any trouble.
But she decided on the former. "So... have you done Galante's homework."
Jordan shook his head, eating his egg burger.
"Shoot... need help? He gave us some notes too," Addison said. "I can give them to you tonight if you want."
Jordan nodded. "Th-Thanks. That sounds good."
"It's fine, you've done more for me," Addison smiled, taking a bite from her chocolate waffle.
The restaurant started getting less crowded, with students and lecturers rushing off for their classes.
"Last night... I'm sorry for... for how I reacted," Jordan quietly said. "I shouldn't have... when the two of you were just expressing concern."
Addison quickly swallowed her mouthful of waffle and shook her head. "No no, it's fine. We... uh... we understand. We don't know what kinda stuff you're going through, we don't even know how bad it is."
Jordan sighed, shaking his head with a sardonic smirk. "You have no idea."
"Yeah... Jake doesn't either," Addison nodded. "He... he's super worried."
Jordan looked at his food. Addison stopped and finished her food.
"Let's go, we have Speaking Skills," Addison said, grabbing her cup of mocha. "I'll wait for you."

Jordan seems in a better mood today
What was the plan again?

There was a plan?

Jake!
Oi!

Fine... just see him during work
Get him a chocolate or something

I'm gonna get him something from the cooperative shop

Okay...
Make sure he doesn't blow up

Ok...
Stop saying that...

He blew up on us last night
How about that?

Good point
I'll tell you what happens later

Addison gulped and made her way to the cooperative shop, pulling her hood on as she passed the Sundeer Cafe.
She decided to get him a nice wooden bookmark and a hardcover notebook, and a few things for herself, before making a beeline for the cafe. She had to wait in line since she wasn't the only customer there.
The guy in front of Addison left with his drink and she stepped to the counter, much to Jordan's surprise.
"Hi!" Addison greeted, grinning.
"Addie..." Jordan didn't sound as excited.
"Yeah, right back at cha," Addison ignored his lack of enthusiasm. "Can I get a... Sparkling Lemon Burst? It's not sour, right?"
"Not really," Jordan said, taking her order. "That's all, right?"
Addison nodded and paid for it before waiting. It was soon ready and Jordan handed it to her after sealing the cup.
"Thanks," Addison poked a straw through the top and turned around, leaving as fast as she could.
Jordan frowned and looked down at the counter. To his surprise, there was a brown package on it, his name written on the front. He looked up to find Addison but she was gone.

Addison made a run for it, calling Fiolina as she made her way to the bus stop. She finally picked up.
"Fio! Fio, this is Addie," Addison said as soon as she heard the other girl's voice.
"Yeah, what's up?" Fiolina asked.
"Fio, if you're free, this would be the best time to visit Jordan. He's in a better mood today."
There was silence on the other end.
"Just spend him a coffee or something, he'll accept, hopefully," Addison quickly said.
"Actually, Addie, we're good now," Fiolina's smiling voice said. "I spoke to him this morning. He called me himself."
"Oh, then that's great," Addison smiled, stopping at the bus stop. "Also, I just got him a bookmark from the cooperative. Friendly gesture! Nothing else."
Fiolina laughed. "I ordered him lunch earlier and he already received it."
Addison chuckled. "That's good. Hey, I'm really glad the two of you made it up to each other. Really, I am." She noticed her bus approaching in the distance. "Wait, gotta go. My bus is here."

This time, Jeff saw Addison coming in beforehand.
"Hi!" Addison cheerfully greeted.
Jeff nodded thoughtfully. "I see... I see... so something good happened today. What is it?"
"Jordan's better," Addison chuckled. "We still don't know what's going on with him, but he's better now."
Jeff nodded thoughtfully. "I see... so what was his problem yesterday?"
Addison set her cup down on the table. "He had diarrhoea... and he looked... horrid!"
"How bad?" Jeff almost seemed excited.
"Worse than you."
Jeff smirked. "Well! At least I'm not the ugliest of them all, then."
Addison rolled her eyes and grabbed a chicken pie and a sausage, warming them up in the microwave. She looked at Jeff and realised how he didn't look as bad as the day before.
"Looks like someone finally got some sleep last night," Addison smirked, going over to her drink on the table. "You look better today compared to yesterday."
Jeff chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah, went easy on the video games last night."
"Good," Addison smiled. "Also, I just got Jordan a bookmark and a notebook to cheer him up. It was Jake's idea but it was my money and I had to pay for this expensive drink too..."
"Well... maybe he deserves it, the stuff, I mean," Jeff shrugged. Then he smirked. "Especially if he's the Superhero."
"Literally everyone is suspecting him now," Addison nodded in agreement before taking a sip of her Sparkling Lemon Burst. "Including me."
Jeff nodded thoughtfully, leaning over the counter with a slight smile on his face. "Yeah. If he is, then... then... bless his soul!" He sighed. "Yeah, I know. That sounded weird."
Addison chuckled, shaking her head. "No, you're right. Bless him. He saved my butt so many times. I don't know if I would even be here if it wasn't for him. My hero."
Jeff stood up, his smile not faltering the slightest. "Yeah... well, too bad I've never seen him."
"Yeah, like I said. Just get yourself into trouble and he'll come to your rescue."
"I'm not that desperate, Addie. I value my safety," Jeff smirked. "Unlike someone else I know."
"OI!" Addison glared at him.
"What, it was a joke," Jeff grinned. "Anyway, you better start eating. There's fifteen minutes left."
Addison paid for her stuff and sat down to eat, occasionally sipping her Sparkling Lemon Burst.
