"Hey, Addie, can I borrow your notes?" Addison frowned as soon as she opened the door to Jordan.
"Urgh, fine..." Addison sighed, making her way to her school bag. She dug in her bag and pulled out her blue and purple galaxy notebook. She flipped through the pages and handed it to Jordan. "Here. This was today's class."
Jordan took it with a grin. "Thanks, Addie." He looked up at her and frowned thoughtfully. "By the way, you work at the convenience store in Spine Street, right?"
"Yeah?" Addison nodded. "Why?"
"Well, I went there earlier, and then the cashier was this guy, black hair with a scar on his eyebrow, and he kept giving me this sneering smirk," Jordan frowned. "It was drizzling, so I took my coat off and put it around Sierra, and he actually called for me to wash my hoodie. You know that guy?"
Addison held back a laugh. "Yeah, that was Jeff. If you didn't notice, I was there too, eating at the table. My shift hadn't started yet."
Jordan grimaced. "Well, tell this Jeff fella to keep his mouth shut."
Addison just shrugged. "He's always like that." Then she decided to change the subject. "Anyway, you wanna join our study group with Jake?"
Jordan shrugged. "Sure. At least until I finish copying down your notes."
Addison hid a scowl and nodded, grabbed her things, and turned the lights off before following him out of the room. They both went downstairs and went to the dining hall, where Jake was already waiting with his books.
"Why do you always come in so early?" Jordan groaned, slumping down next to him.
"Why do you always come in so late?" Jake countered without looking up from his books. He turned the page and pushed his glasses up slightly. "Always the last one to enter."
Addison bit back a laugh and took out her books. She opened her books and started studying with Jake. Jordan on the other hand, just sat around, copying Addison's notes into his notebook. Jake frowned at him for a moment before continuing with his studying.
"Okay, I'm done," Jordan closed his book and returned Addison's to her. "Thanks."
He gave them a small wave and left, rushing up the stairs. The two of them shook their heads.
"You know, he ditched me this morning without a word?" Addison frowned. "Just because he had a date..."
Jake took his glasses off and put them back in their case. "How did you go to college then?"
"I took a PickYou," Addison shrugged. "It was no biggie, but he could've at least told me about it."
"He's always like that," Jake shrugged. "Always ditches you on the last moment."
Addison nodded with a frown, Felicia's warning ringing in her ears now.
Be careful with that Jordan fella.
Addison sighed. She had to learn it the hard way.
She wrapped up her 'class' with Jake and packed her things before going up to her room. For some reason, she felt like avoiding Jordan all of a sudden now. He just ditched her after all the help she did for him.

"Sup, Addie!" Jeff greeted as soon as she stepped into the shop.
Addison studied him closely, a thoughtful frown on her face. "Let me guess. You want me to edit your assignment?"
"Bingo!" Jeff grinned, lifting his laptop and bringing it over to her. "Can you help? I already finished the second essay."
Addison nodded and went towards the snack aisle to grab a cheese-flavoured Itchy-Bun before going over to the drink section to get a carton of milk. She returned to the counter and waited as Jeff scanned her food.
"You seem to really love this bun," Jeff frowned as he scanned the barcode for the bun. "Is it really that good?"
Addison nodded. "Yeah, I like it. It's really cheesy, but sweet at the same time."
Jeff nodded slowly, without looking up from the scanner. "I tried it once, it was fine I guess. Would've been better if it wasn't so sweet."
"I've never seen you buy this bun before," Addison snorted. "You can try the pizza bun. It's not sweet, quite spicy actually."
"Sure, maybe I'll buy a few later," Jeff shrugged. "Might need a snack for later."
Addison chuckled and paid for the things before going over to Jeff's laptop on the table. She sat in front of it and started editing it while eating her bun.
"Do you by any chance take Academic Writing?" Addison asked, looking up from the laptop, holding the cheese bun in one hand.
Jeff looked confused. "Isn't it like... compulsory or something?"
Addison finally remembered. "Oh yeah. It is. Sorry about that..."
"You said that Ginger fella is bad at it, right?" Jeff snorted. "How? I thought he was taking Linguistics or something?"
Addison shrugged. "I honestly have no idea. He blames the lecturer, and he says that our new Italian lecturer is way better." She suddenly remembered what he told her last night. "Also, he's kinda mad that you mentioned his smelly hoodie."
Jeff burst into laughter. "I'm not sorry for that. Not one bit."
Addison chuckled and took a sip of her milk, continuing to edit Jeff's essay. It wasn't so bad, just needed a little rephrasing and then there were the typos too.
"You know, Jeff, this essay is actually pretty interesting," Addison noted, skimming through his paper. "Too bad, I can't really understand some of these terms..."
"You're not the science kinda person, huh?" Jeff smirked, leaning over the counter.
"Not really," Addison snorted. "I took Bio and Chem back in high school. But most of it has been forgotten."
Jeff chuckled. "That's understandable."
Addison snickered and finished the last of her bun, gulping down all of the milk at once. She threw the wrappers away and went over to the food warmer to get herself a chicken pie. She microwaved it and came back to Jeff.
"You're buying again?" Jeff asked, scanning the barcode from the list stuck to the counter.
"I'm hungry..." Addison sighed. "One bun isn't enough..."
"Well, I see what you mean," Jeff agreed. "That bun doesn't serve as lunch."
She paid and went back to Jeff's laptop, nibbling on the pie as she skimmed through his work.
"I'm surprised that you actually bring your laptop to school," Addison said, editing the last bit of the essay. "I never brought mine, bag too heavy. Also, I'm done. Wanna check it out?"
She brought the laptop over to the counter and put it down in front of Jeff. "How is it?"
"I'll read it later," Jeff said, saving the document before turning the laptop off. He looked up at her and gave her a small smile. "Thanks, Addie."
"It's no problem," Addison smiled back. "It was fun reading the paper, quite interesting."
Jeff smiled, taking out his bag. "You seem to like science. Why didn't you take it?"
Addison shrugged, going back to the table. "Well, maybe because I prefer writing?"
"That makes sense," Jeff laughed, stuffing his laptop and charger inside his bag. "Anyway, how's that Italian lecturer of yours?"
Addison smirked. "He's pretty fun. Especially since he keeps messing with Jordan."
"Why?" Jeff grinned, leaning over the counter after putting his bag aside.
"Because he's always late, he's a ginger, and the lecturer keeps messing up his name," Addison chuckled. "I think the closest thing he called to his name was Giordano."
Jeff snorted. "What else did he call him?"
Addison tried to remember. "Jackson, Jacob, George, Ginger, Capelli Rossi. The last one is by far the best."
Jeff started laughing. "Well, I have another one."
"What is it?" Addison asked, interested.
"Hoodie," Jeff guffawed.
Addison couldn't stop laughing at that.
