Addison sat down in the middle row since the front was thankfully taken by the early birds. Jordan was nowhere to be seen so she decided to watch the entrance to see if he was coming.
Galante soon arrived, Addison thought it was odd that he was late since he left earlier than her. Well, he may have had stuff to do.
...Galante stuff?
Addison had no clue.
Galante soon began teaching but no Jordan came. Addison kept looking at the entrance but there wasn't a single sign of the redhead.
Addison frowned and waited for the moment Galante would turn his back on them. She pulled out her phone and sent Jordan a quick text.
Oi
Where are you?
Did you skip AW?
The texts were instantly marked as read when Jordan came online. She waited eagerly for him to respond but
He went offline.
Addison frowned and put her phone away, concentrating on whatever Galante was saying at the front.

"Addie!" Addison heard just as she was going to enter the Broadcasting Hall. She turned around and to her surprise, it was Galante, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. "Have you seen Jordan?"
Addison shook her head. "No, Sir, I haven't. I texted him but he just left me on read."
"Odd..." Giuseppe frowned. "Never mind, you go for your class first. We'll talk later."
Addison nodded and entered the hall. She was surprised that Giuseppe had actually hunted her down to find her in the middle of the day, evidently having a short break between classes.
She turned around for a second to see where Galante had gone, but there wasn't a trace of him. Addison frowned and found a spot to sit in the hall.
Addison started wondering about Jordan. What on Earth was going on in his redheaded life? Something big, that was certain, but what was it?
Addison felt like spying on him but ain't nobody got time for that, especially not Addison. What with her work and college, add Galante Class and homework to it too, now on earth was she gonna spy on him?
The lecturer soon came in and she immediately pulled her things out to start.

Addison made her way to Sundeer to ask Jordan for an explanation. But of course, she had to get herself a drink as an excuse.
To her surprise, only the surly woman who was Jordan's boss stood behind the counter, an impressive frown contorting her annoyed face. Addison gulped and went over.
"He-Hello, can I get a Passion Fruit Delight?" Addison asked politely.
The woman nodded and immediately started on it. Addison felt nervous about the uncomfortable silence, save for the sound of her drink being made.
"I'm sorry, ma'am, but isn't Jordan at work today?" Addison asked.
"No, he's on medical leave," the woman said without turning around. "Says he's too sick to even get up. You're his friend, aren't ya? I've seen you come in a few times just to disturb Jordan."
"Yeah, we... we take a few classes together and he also rents in the same place I live in," Addison said. "I was just wondering why he hadn't come for class just now and came to see him here. Turns out, he's just unwell."
"Yeah," the surly woman put a sealed cup in front of her, together with a paper straw. "You said you lived with him, right? Tell that redhead to recover as soon as possible. "It's hard managing the shop alone."
"Sure, ma'am," Addison gulped and took out her card, swiping it against the reader the older woman held in front of her. "Thank you."
Addison grabbed her drink and ran off to the bus stop.

"You look like you tried to catch a train on foot and still caught up!" Jeff remarked as soon as Addison stepped in. "And you even managed to stop for a drink."
"Jeff, this isn't funny," Addison frowned. "Something's going on with Jordan."
Jeff smirked. "Oh I know what it is... he's beat after his appearance last night."
"How did you know?" Addison looked at him in surprise.
"Saw it in the footage," Jeff shrugged. "I like watching the footage whenever I'm bored. Also, I saw how robbers decided to come in at that exact time and the part where he was so shocked to see that auburn chick that he fled, and also how you took out the trash before leaving."
Addison nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah... I think I saw his face too."
Jeff leaned forward with a thud so suddenly, that Addison was taken aback. "You saw his face?! What did he look like?"
"I couldn't really tell, his mask was still half-on and it shadowed his face," Addison said. "All I saw was his mouth, a frown. That's all."
"Did he have a moustache or anything?" Jeff asked eagerly. "Was it blond? Black?"
"I couldn't see, all I saw was his frown," Addison repeated.
Jeff relaxed, sinking back onto his stool. "Well... I thought you already identified him as Hoodie. Anyway, from that frown you saw... was he handsome?"
"I don't know!" Addison burst out, exasperated. "God, you're worst than Fiolina, do you know that?!"
Jeff raised his hands in surrender, his eyes wide with shock. "Whoa whoa! Okay... sorry if I said anything to upset you."
Addison gasped, turning to him in surprise. "Oh, no no no no. I... I didn't mean it like that. I was just..." she fumbled for words. "It was just... this day... this day just keeps getting weirder and weirder. I'm not sure what's going on. I'm not sure what's gonna happen at home."
Jeff instantly turned serious. "What happened?"
"Jordan didn't show up at school or work today," Addison groaned. "I had to carpool with Galante and even had breakfast with him, and then-"
"Hold up," Jeff cut in. "You had breakfast with your lecturer?! Gosh, Addie. That's kinda messed up. For you, I mean."
"It was, and when I pointed it out to him, he asked me to consider it a treat for being his best student. Like... how lame is that..."
Jeff snorted. "And then? How about the part where you walked in looking like you chased a train?"
"Oh, that..." Addison smiled sheepishly. "I was just running away from Jordan's grumpy boss."
"Oh..." Jeff smirked. "Anyway, go get something to eat. You look tired."
"Yeah, thanks," Addison gratefully said, making her way to the freezer to see what she should try. She frowned at the frozen contents before looking up at Jeff. "Do you think the frozen chicken rice would be good?"
"That sounds like the recipe for diarrhoea," Jeff smirked. "Why don't you just take ramen or pasta or something like that?"
"I think I'll take the freshly made rice instead," Addison mumbled as she made her way towards the food warmer. "And some sausages."
"Oh yeah, don't finish them, I want some too," Jeff grinned from the counter. "Also, eat quickly, you only have less than ten minutes."
Addison nodded and came over to the counter to pay before sitting at the table to eat. Jeff went back to frowning at something on his phone, occasionally scrolling through whatever he was seeing.
"Whatcha seeing?" Addison asked between spoonfuls of rice.
"I'm reading this new manga I found online," Jeff answered, looking up for a moment. "It's kinda cool."
"What's it about?"
"About a psycho boyfriend who goes to violent extents to protect his girl. Sounds like what I would do, honestly."
Addison frowned. "That's cute and all, but did you even sleep last night?"
"For like four hours, I think?" Jeff looked up thoughtfully. "Or was it three? I'm not sure, but I did sleep."
"Doesn't look enough, mate," Addison shrugged. "You still look like you dug yourself out of a grave."
Jeff extended his arms, rolling his eyes back so that only the whites were visible. "BRAAAINSSSSSSSSSS!" He growled.
"Stop that, you look horrible as it is, now you look ghastly," Addison scolded. "Get back to work and let me eat."
Jeff burst into laughter. "What do you mean get back to work? My shift's over, I have to get to college now."
Addison gasped. "Shoot, and I'm not done yet!"
"It's fine, I'll wait for you," Jeff smiled, seeing how she was stuffing her face as fast as she can. "No need to rush, my class only starts at four."
"Go get changed, I'll be done before you're done," Addison mumbled.
Jeff shrugged and made his way to the backroom to change back into his regular clothes. Addison was done by the time he was out.
"Wow, you weren't kidding," Jeff snorted. "Go get changed, I need to grab a few things."
Addison nodded and hurried off to change. Jeff got a few sausages and pies, scanning them himself just as she returned.
"Here, let me do it," Addison practically shooed him out of the counter.
She scanned everything and handed him a chocolate bar with his change.
"Why?" Jeff asked, confused. "I didn't buy that."
"Yeah, but just take it," Addison frowned. "I'm sorry for shouting at you earlier, I really didn't mean that."
Jeff smiled, showing his side dimple. "It's fine. I didn't even take that personally. But thanks for the chocolate, though. I can't refuse that, especially since..." he smirked and took the chocolate, pocketing it together with his change.
"Fine, just get going now," Addison rolled her eyes. "Bye, SlurpSlurp!"
"See ya, Dietitian."
Addison smiled, watching him get onto his bike and speed off to Harvington.
