"So we're eating at the fountain now to avoid Galante?" Addison asked, biting into her breakfast pocket from Pizza Land. "Jordan, are you sure this is a good idea?"
"Foolproof," Jordan grinned, eating his mini pizza. "Why on earth would Galante, the high-brow Dean of the Business and Communications Department, be sitting here, on a fountain, to eat in front of his students, who look up to him like a god?"
Addison rolled her eyes. "Yeah, so why would Galante, the high-brow Dean of the Business and Communications Department, be renting in some house that we, two students who are supposed to look up to him like a god, are staying at as well?"
"Well, I can't answer that, but that's out of campus site," Jordan pointed out. "We are in campus now. Of course, Galante would not sit in a place like this to eat, in front of..." he spotted Galante waving in the distance. "...everyone... Addie, is it me, or is that Galante waving at us from over there?"
Addison turned to look in and gasped, seeing how it really was Galante who was waving at them.
"Oh my god, it is..." Addison groaned. "Let's just pretend we didn't see."
Well, her idea didn't work since Giuseppe came over and perched himself between them, a breakfast burrito and espresso from WFC in his hands.
"Fancy seeing the two of you here," Giuseppe greeted, unpacking his burrito. "Why are you guys eating here of all places?"
"Oh, just for fun," Addison shrugged, taking a bite from her food. "It's really nice here, nice weather."
"Do you... usually eat here?" Jordan asked, having a slight hunch.
"Always, actually," Giuseppe shrugged. "Especially if I come in early."
Addison shot a glare at Jordan, one that said 'I so shouldn't have listened to you.'
"Yeah, this place is really nice, ain't it?" Jordan chuckled awkwardly.
Addison quickly finished her breakfast burrito and got up, still munching. She just waved at them and ran off, leaving Jordan to deal with Galante alone. The redhead stared after her in surprise. That was until Galante turned to look at him, he had to grin to hide his shock.

Addison burst into laughter as soon as she was out of earshot. She sat down in the back row of the Speaking Skills Hall and took her bag off, fishing out her coffee-filled flask for a drink. Jordan soon came in and sat down beside her.
"Yeah, real nice of you to leave me behind with Galante, Addie," Jordan scowled, taking his things out. "That was so mean!"
"Well, you did that to me only yesterday," Addison shrugged. "Besides, it was your idea to sit by the fountain instead of just eating in the restaurant."
Jordan rolled his eyes. "As if I knew that the fountain is his usual eating spot."
"You're right, I've eaten by the fountain before and even I don't know that," Addison agreed. "Well, what happened after I left?"
"He scolded me for not joining his class last night and just ate his food," Jordan shrugged. "Eventually, I stuffed the pizza into my mouth and skedaddled."
"I can already imagine," Addison snorted.
Their lecturer soon came in so they straightened themselves and got ready for class.

Addison ran off to the bus stop, hoping that Galante wouldn't catch her for some reason, and went straight to the convenience store she worked at. Jeff gave her a two-finger salute when she came in and went back to reading his book.
"Doing some reading, I see?" Addison remarked, making her way towards the pastry section to get a serving of noodles.
"This book's pretty good," Jeff said, showing it to her. "Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less. I just started it. So far, it's going good."
Addison chuckled and made her way to the milk section to get a bottle of full cream milk. "I see. Who's the writer?"
"Jeffrey Archer," Jeff said, closing the book and putting it aside.
"Oh... now I know why you like that book," Addison smirked, going over to the counter to pay. "The writer shares your name."
Jeff sighed. "Yes, that's one of the reasons why I bought this book, but the actual reason is actually the synopsis. It sounded good, so I went ahead and got it."
"Can I see it?" Addison asked just as he picked up the barcode scanner.
Jeff pushed the book towards her and started scanning the barcodes. Addison marvelled at how he had neatly wrapped the book cover with protective plastic to prevent damage. She was about to open it and take a look when Jeff cleared his throat.
"Pay up, Addie," Jeff informed.
"Oh," Addison quickly returned the book and pulled out her wallet to pay. Jeff put it in the cash register and handed her the change. "Thanks."
"You didn't heat your food?" Jeff asked, seeing how she didn't nuke her noodles.
"Nah, it's warm enough," Addison shrugged, sitting down at her usual spot to eat. "By the way, where did you buy that book? Looks kinda interesting."
"In the bookstore at the mall," Jeff informed. "The books are really cheap there too."
Addison nodded. "Looks like I'm gonna have to take a visit to the mall again. It's been a while since I read any... physical books."
"Oh... so you're the ebook kind, huh..." Jeff understood. "Now I know why you're always staring at your phone."
Addison chuckled and started eating her lunch.

Fiolina came in as usual and sat down. "Have you heard the news?"
"No, I've been working," Addison sighed. "What is it this time?"
"Superhero saved another collision," Fiolina said, taking her phone out. "Between two buses!"
Addison nodded, impressed. "The guy's saving a lot of lives."
"Yeah..." Fiolina chuckled, getting up and going over to the snack section. "By the way... how's it going with that lecturer of yours who's staying with you?"
Addison groaned. "Terrible... this morning, Jordan suggested we sit at the fountain to eat since Galante joined us for breakfast at McRonalds yesterday. Guess what?"
"He sat with you guys?" Fiolina guessed, piling her arms up with junk food.
"Even worse. Not only did he sit with us but turns out, that was his usual spot too eat."
"Oh no..." Fiolina burst into laughter, returning to the counter to pay. "How did you guys dodge it?"
"Same as yesterday," Addison smirked, picking up the barcode scanner. "Only, Jordan ditched me yesterday. Today..."
"What happened?" Fiolina asked, interested.
"I ditched him!" Addison laughed evilly. "Serve him right. He had to deal with Galante himself."
Fiolina snorted. "Poor Jordan. You left my boyfriend to suffer alone."
Addison narrowed her eyes, pausing briefly from scanning. "He ditched your friend yesterday. How about that?"
"Yeah, but still!" Fiolina whined. "Poor Jordan!"
Addison just rolled her eyes and scanned everything before telling her the payment.
