Addison got up early for school and went down with her flask. The new teak coffee table caught her eye, making her smile as she remembered last night's happenings. She made a beeline for the kitchen and caught sight of Jordan having his usual cup of hot cocoa.
"Morning, Jordan," Addison greeted as she went to the water dispenser.
"Hey," Jordan greeted.
"Finished your AW homework?"
"Nope," Jordan nonchalantly said.
Addison turned to him in surprise. "Dude, we're seeing Galante in the first period."
"I'll just try to get it done during breakfast," Jordan shrugged.
"Get what done during breakfast?" A voice asked, making both of them groan.
Jordan turned around, plastering a nervous smile on his face. "Mr. Galante!"
"Hi," Addison simply said with a small wave.
"I heard you haven't finished my homework," Galante pointed at Jordan. "Why? What were you doing during the weekend?"
"A lot, actually," Jordan sighed, his lips forming a tight smile. "Including what happened two nights ago."
Giuseppe's smile instantly faded as he nodded understandingly. "I see... you must've been busy then. I won't collect the essay today, I'll collect it on Wednesday."
"Thanks, Mr. Galante!" Jordan grinned. "You're the best."
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Giuseppe smirked, making his way towards the water dispenser beside Addison. "You done, Addie?"
"Almost," Addison said, realising that she hadn't been filling up at all. "Sorry, I was too busy speaking with Jordan..."
"Yeah, about my homework..." Galante sighed, placing his bottle under the cold faucet. "Whatever, last week was pretty tough, so I'll go a little easy on you guys."
"Us and everyone else in our class," Jordan smirked.

"Ah, it's been a while since we ate at McRonalds," Addison said as she sat down with Jordan with her tray of food. "I actually really wanna try these hash browns."
"And these pancakes," Jordan smiled as he ripped open the small pack of butter. "Also, you think Galante would come in?"
"I won't be surprised," Addison shrugged. "Also, these hash browns are good. What would Galante take?"
"Usually, he'd take the English Breakfast set, so maybe this time he'll take the... English muffin burger?"
"I actually feel bad for Galante, not gonna lie," Addison admitted, taking a bite of her hash brown. "Like, he nearly got evicted for something he did while blind drunk."
Jordan frowned. "I'm surprised that Felicia forgave him. If it was me, she'd already thrown me out. She never really liked me, even back in high school. Apparently, I was a bad influence on Jake."
"I don't see how you're a bad influence, you're better than most guys in my opinion," Addison shrugged. "Did you smoke or do any underage drinking?"
"Never," Jordan shook his head in surprise. "Even now, I don't smoke. Maybe she got wind of the parties my dad always threw. It always involved alcohol and I'd usually come in to hang out with Jake instead of joining Dad. So when she found that I had started going to bars as soon as I turned twenty-one, she must've suspected that I liked partying too."
"Gosh, that's sad..." Addison shook her head.
"It didn't help that my dad actually brought champagne for Jake's twenty-first birthday," Jordan continued with a shudder. "Ugh, you should've seen Felicia's face when she found out."
"Did anyone drink?" Addison asked. "Like you or Felicia or... anyone else?"
"Nah, just him," Jordan snorted. "He brought it, he drank it. I was too embarrassed to join him since he was technically making a fool of himself. Not as bad as Galante, might I add."
Addison chuckled. "Yeah, he did some serious damage, didn't he?"
"He did, he so did..." Jordan laughed. "Ah... we're gifted because not every student gets to see their teachers this."
"I'm just surprised he's still staying with us after finding out that we, his students, are his housemates."
"I'd run if I were him, honestly," Jordan admitted. "Darn... we've seen some stuff..."
"We have..." Addison agreed.

Addison walked out of the campus, a little relieved that she didn't have any unexpected meetings with Galante around campus. It was a good thing he didn't bother them during class too, not even bothering with the homework he gave them on Friday. Well, he was tired and still recovering from whatever happened during the very hectic weekend.
Whatever, everything was over now so she didn't have to worry. What she had to do now was take the bus and get to work.
The free bus stopped in front of her college just as planned and Addison got in. She pressed the button when she came to her stop and got out, making a beeline straight for the convenience store.
Jeff sat behind the counter, reading a book. He quickly looked up when the welcome tune played and was relieved to see that it was only Addison.
"Hey, Addie," Jeff greeted before going right back to his book.
"Whatcha reading?" Addison asked, going over to take a closer look.
Jeff placed a laminated chrysanthemum bookmark between the pages he was reading and showed her the cover.
"The Chrysalids," Addison read. "By John Wyndham?"
"Yeah," Jeff nodded and opened his book again, taking the bookmark out. "I found it in the college library."
"You borrowed it or stole it?" Addison asked, smirking.
"It was in a section called free novels, so I guess you can say I stole it with permission," Jeff simply said. "The title caught my eye and I thought it would be interesting."
Addison nodded, her eye going over to the bookmark he placed on the table. "By the way, nice bookmark."
"Thanks, my sister Kelly made it for me," Jeff said, much to her amusement. "She gave it to me just before I left for college."
Addison snorted. "I still can't with the fact you have a brother named Jeremy Clarkson and a sister named Kelly Clarkson."
Jeff chuckled. "I know, right? But at least, Kelly has a middle name. Kelly Emory Clarkson."
"That's nice," Addison nodded. "Also, that's a thoughtful gift."
"My sister likes pressing flowers under thick books. She then laminates them to keep. I'm actually surprised she even gave me a few, these things are usually really precious to her."
"That's cute," Addison smiled. "I wish my sister had given me something. All she did was hug me. But hey, I'm not complaining."
"I'm not either," Jeff shrugged. "Anyway, did anything funny happen today? Did Galante get evicted like you said?"
"Nah," Addison grinned. "He didn't. He managed to fix things with Felicia by buying her a very expensive teak table and an incense pot. She loved it so much. The best part was, he actually packed everything up and was ready to leave. Felicia actually went ahead and pulled him back."
"That sounds dramatic," Jeff smirked, imagining everything. "Like, dramatic enough to be in a K-Drama."
"It was," Addison agreed with a chuckle. "It really was."
Jeff stared at her as she sat down, smiling.
"So... you're not gonna get anything to eat?" He asked suddenly. "Like... I only have ten minutes of shift left."
Addison immediately got up and went to get something from the food warmer.
