The street was empty and the rain just started. I walked as I shivered in the cold. It had been a long day and my headache was already getting worst. I was about jog to reach quickly at home when I heard someone call my name. "Tejasswi Hey Tejasswi Wait" I turn
around to see who is calling and I found very attractive Kunaal in front of me.

"Oh hi Kunaal. What are you doing here?" I wondered

"I walked this way to catch the bus home. What about you?" He said.

"My house is only few blocks away" I said.

"Oh cool. We should walk together from now on" He said while shooting me a cute smile.

"Yeah I would like that" I said as we started walking towards my house

"So you just started working in hospital and Mrs. D'Souza already seems to like you" he said. "I didn't think she had capability of liking anyone" he said shrugging

"What's make you think she likes me?" I wondered

"I don't know. Maybe she likes you or maybe she hates you little less" He laughed.

Our conversation went well laughing and giggling. A thin cold air settles on my skin making me shiver. "Hey youu cold " He asked

"No I'm fine" I lied

"Here here, take my jacket" he offered.

"Then u will be cold" I said.

"No. The bus stop is here. I will be reaching home soon .keep it with you. Just bring it back at work tomorrow" He said waving good bye.

"Ok thanks. I will see u tomorrow" I said waving back

NEXT DAY
today has been relaxed at work so far. I was just sitting with sister geeta while she was doing some paper work. I wanted to ask her something since long.

"Sister Geeta?" I dared to asked

"Yes dear" She said sweetly.

"Well I was kind of roaming around the other day and I saw this door to another part of the building. What's WARD D?" I finally asked.

Sister Geeta stopped writing and became completely still. Frozen. She stayed like that for a long moment. I almost asked if she was ok when she turned her chair slowly. She licked her lips in anticipation and let out a deep sign. And I knew this could not be good. "Tejasswi let me explain something to you" she said and I nodded.

"Stay away from WARD D" she said.

"What? Why?" I asked

"Well I can't tell you that. But". She leaned forward to get close to my ear. "If you really love your life. STAY AWAY" She whispered.

It was hard to understand why to stay away if it's a part of our institution. Every nurse should know about everything related to institution.

"It will be easy to stay away. If I get the exact reason" I said biting my lower lip. She signed heavily "Well I can tell you one of the many reasons" she leaning back on her chair. "There are rumors that place is haunted by a girl who has her legs flipped " she said resting her elbows on the table and my heart almost skipped a beat. Is she even serious? Or just trying to fool me?

"You can't be serious" I asked scooting my chair close to her

"I said there are rumors and I never saw her in my whole life" she said

"Oh but that place really look weird. And there is this nurse Emily. I wonder how she is working in that place" I said raising my eyebrows at her. Her eyebrows shot up in surprised as she blinked several times.

" What? Who?" She asked.

"EMILY"

"H-how do you know her?" She stuttered. Sweat Bud's form on her forehead as her lower lip tremble slightly.

"I met her there near Ward D" I said.

"You have got to be kidding me Tejasswi. Emily died two years back" she got up quickly on her feet. "If you are trying to scaring me this is not funny at all" she said and walked out of the room slamming the door behind her back. My head got numb for a second. What did she just said? Did I talk to dead women? I couldn't think straight as my body started to shiver
