Part 31

"Well then what do you want Karan?" I asked.

"YOU"

My heart pounded like a hammer in my chest. My breathing becomes uneven. "I just want you Tejasswi" he said and I looked up into his eyes. I stared into his eyes quite a bit. God they were so beautiful. Glimmering with care and passion. His eyes drawing me in. It was then I realized how close we were my face mere inches from his.  

"I am sorry" I whispered pulling away from him. "I- I am running out of ways to keep from kissing you" in my subconscious I spoke the words but accidentally saying them out loud rather than in my head. When I realized what I just said my cheeks grew hot in embarrassment. I was surprised by my own words.

"So kiss me then" he whispered.

I wanted to kiss the hell out of him but we were in hospital and the consequences of this action will be horrible. But still with my heart make me do that. I leaned into him. My brains telling me that it wasn't a good idea but my heart never listen to my brain.

My lips barely brushed on his lips and that was enough to make my knees go weak. They were so incredibly soft and warm and I needed more. My hand reached up to his neck pulling him down towards me. Our forehead resting against each other. Sunny wrapped his lips around my bottom one and I copied the action wrapping my lips on his upper one. This feeling was absolutely exhilarating. Those few seconds had been enough to leave us both breathless. Karan's hand rose up to my hair while his fingers slid the hair pin from my bun. My hair fell on my shoulder in lose waves. His lips parted from mine just to say. "You look beautiful when you leave your hair open" and then the kiss were continued slowly and tenderly. His hands move to my waist as he pulled me into him. Our chest rising and falling. And suddenly the Walls of hospital started to fade. The worries thoughts disappeared and horror of the building withered away. There was no Kunaal. No D'Souza. No Nikita. No Emily. There was only Sunny and Sunny.

My world was no longer mine as it was now engulfed in his. He walked over to the bed with me without breaking the kiss. He leaned down to make me lay on the mattress while resting on top of me. He broke the kiss after few minutes as we needed air, we both were breathing heavily.

His lips grazed over my cheek. Then my jawline. Then on to my neck where he placed soft kisses. Our hands roming each other's body. He opened three buttons of my shirt and planted feather like kisses on my collarbone. "You are so beautiful Tejasswi" He mumbled against my skin and I let out a slight moan.

Before I could say anything we heard a sound. We both snapped our head towards door stopping our action. Then we saw Meera. She was standing outside the metal bars as if she had merely been passing by and happened to stumble upon two of us. She is an employee here. A very good nurse. She had never been much of a trouble just doing her job and not getting involved in anything or anyone. But now she was my biggest fear. Her mouth hanging open as she looked at us. She would surely tell Mrs. D'Souza.

"Meera" I called but it was too late, she had already hurried away. Karan and I had been caught and now I can only imagine the consequences. I was so lost in Sunny that I didn't even noticed Meera.

"Shit" Karan cursed. The first word he had spoken in whole five minutes.

"That was one hell of a kiss Tejasswi Prakash" I turned to him and he was smiling like a crazy.

"Sunny do you not realize how much trouble we will be in?" I asked

"Oh no. I do. We are so dead" he said cheekily

"Then why the hell you are smiling?" I asked

"What?" He asked innocently "Just because we are gonna get in huge trouble doesn't mean I can't enjoy what just happened" he said still smiling.

I shook my head amazed at his indifference. I mean I enjoyed the kiss too but I couldn't forget that Meera just caught us. She would definitely be the one to tell Mrs. D'Souza. Who knows what Mrs. D'Souza will do? I looked at Karan and he was still smiling. Stupid. Despite everything I smile too.

"I have got to go before Mrs. D'Souza comes here ok? Act like I just brought food here and nothing happened. And for god sake stop smiling" I said

"Got it" he nodded still smiling.

As I turn to go, he pulled me and my back crashed to his chest. I turned to ask him "Wha-" but my words died as he kiss my lips again.

"Sunny what was that?" I blushed

"Just a peck sweety. You want more? I am toh ready to taste you again" He winked.

"Ugh Sunny" I hit his face lightly and finally move my eyes away from him and got out of the room locking it shut behind me.
