KARAN POV
I never imagined that something like this would happen. I thought it was Kunaal. I was sure of it but no, it was Aman who takes Tejasswi to her room every day. I won't let him do that anymore. No fucking way. If he is touching Riya then why can't he touch Tejasswi. He can do that easily. The thought made me almost tremble with anger. I abruptly stood up from where I was sitting. I couldn't take it anymore. "I will be right back" I announced to all three women.

"Where are you going?" Tejasswi asked staring at me with her big eyes.

"Don't worry about it. I will be right back" I repeated placing a quick kiss to her forehead. I walked towards the line of guards and found Paras easily. He was chatting with other guards.

"I need to see Mrs. D’Souza" I demanded. He looked at me in slight amusement.

"After lunch" he said indifferently and then proceeded talking.

"No now"  I was getting more anxious.

"Karan. Lunch will be over in half an hour. We can-"

"Just take me there it's urgent" I forced.

He sighed and walked away from his friend. I was really surprised that he had actually listened. May be he was afraid of me or maybe he was less of an asshole. He took me straight to her office, entering inside he spoke "Uh. Mrs. D’Souza. Karan Kundrra wants to see you".

"Send him inside"

Paras looked at me and gestured me to go inside, so I went inside and there she was sitting behind her desk. She took her time finishing whatever she was doing. There was a tension between us.

"Switch Tejasswi's guard" I said without even bothering to look at him

"And why should I do that?" She asked lazily.

"You have to switch him and make it someone good. Not with Kunaal or some shit" I told her.

"That is not answer to my question Mr. Kundrra"

"Because her guard is disgusting rapist" I said.

She literally snorted as if it was amusing to her. "I highly doubt that"

"Well it's true" I screamed

"How I am supposed to believe you?" She asked.

"He did that to Riya. I saw him" the last part was an obvious lie but I have to do it if I want to keep Teju safe.

"You saw Aman assaulting Riya?" She asked as if she couldn't believe it.

"Yes I did. So switch Tejasswi's guard and do it now before lunch gets over" I said more firmly.

"First of all Karan. You don't demand things from me. You are already a killer. Who knows what mental disorders you may have. You could have imagined this whole thing. And second I am not going to just drop everything and replace the guard to maintain your romance with your girlfriend" she said.

I was running out of patience. "Just fucking do it. I am tired of playing these games of being your little puppet that you can torture for your own and your son pleasure. You've caused us enough trouble already. Please just give me this. Change her security. It's the least you can do" I said. She looked at me like it was a good entertainment for her.

"Goodbye Karan" she said nodding at Paras as if telling him to take me away. He pulled me back.

"Switch the fucking guard" I said one last time as forcefully as I could manage but I got no answer. There was small possibility that she could do it. But she could do opposite way as well just to take revenge. "Fuck" I breathed as soon as the door slammed shut. We really need to escape very soon and it is almost impossible.

"Paras how long have you working here?" I asked on the long walk back to cafeteria.

"Almost five years"

"So you are aware of what a bitch Mrs. D’Souza is. Correct?" I asked.

"I guess" he chuckled slightly.

"So let me ask you this. If you have to defend one of us. Whose battle would you fight. Mine or her’s?" I asked. Paras looked taken aback by that question. We kept walking but it was silence. He was thinking it over. He was smart and he would pick a bitch over a murderer that was sure but somehow he knows I am innocent. He had seen me behaving well. Maybe he knows the answer but he doesn't want to say it.

"Don't tell me your answer. Just keep it in mind"
