I stood there wrapped in his arms. My hands making their way through his soft hair. I was falling for him so much faster. My fondness for this boy who I once thought was a criminal was starting to grow into love. "I don't think you realize how incredible you are" I said quietly.

"Sunny you are amazing" I smiled. He pulled away just to look at me. A small grin form on his lips but he didn't say anything. He knows now the door was locked and we two were alone. He dared to crash his lips onto mine again. But this kiss was even more passionate then the last one. His lips felt so warm and soft as he moved it against my lips. He pulled away within few seconds. I unhooked my arms from his neck and rested it on his chest. His face remained just inches away from mine as smile grew on his face. "I will do it again" he whispered

"What? Kiss me or take the blame for it?" I asked in very low tone.

"Both" he said pecking my lips again.

"You are insane" I smiled against his lips.

"That's why I am here" he joked.

Suddenly a thought popped into my mind. And it was important one and I was surprised. "What?" Karan asked noticing my expressions.

"Nothing. I just- I just remembered that today is my birthday"

"Is it really?" He asked

I nodded and he looked like as if he is trying to hide his smile.

"No offense but this is a fucking awful way of celebrating a birthday" he chuckled. I laughed at his comment and the irony of the fact that this was supposed to be a fun day but it was opposite.

Suddenly I felt Sunny's lips on my cheeks. "Happy birthday Laddo" he wished and my cheeks flushed at the words.

"Thank you" I muttered.

Karan POV
Today was one of the weirdest days of my life. I came to know about the real culprit behind all those murders. Kunaal is the person who killed Dhara and two other women but still he is roaming freely. And here, I am stuck in this asylum for no reason. I suspected from the beginning that he was the murderer but the most surprising thing is that Mrs. D'Souza is his mother. I think she knows his secret. We have to be more careful.

I hate this aweful place but can't deny the fact that this place gave me my sanity, my Laddoo. Today was her birthday and on her special day, I was with her almost the whole day. I still can't believe she kissed me. When her soft lips touched mine, I felt something in my heart. i can't express that feeling in words. I want to feel them again. I think I have started developing feelings for her. And I'm sure she feels for me too. I saw it in her eyes, when that bitch ordered to punish me.

Whatever happened today made me realize that I can do anything to save Teju. I have to save her from Kunaal, his mother and this cruel world. I don't want to let any harm happen to my Teju.

Suddenly someone opened the door of my room and the chain of my thoughts broke. It was my Laddoo.

"Teju? What are you doing here at this time?" I was shocked to see her.

"Mrs D'Souza has sent me here to give you electric shock. Kya yaar Sunny, I have come here to meet you and you are asking me what I am doing here. Not fair, I took so much risk to meet you only but it seems you don't want to meet me. Okay then I am leaving and I'll not talk to you"

She pouted and turn to leave the room but I grabbed her hand, pulled her towards me. She fell on my chest and put her hands on my chest.

"Laddoo, I didn't mean that. What I meant to say is, no one except the guard comes to the patient's room. And you're not allowed to meet me. So why did you take the risk haan? If anyone sees you here, you will be in trouble" I said patting her cheeks.

"I just wanted to see you before I go home. I just wanted to make sure you are okay. Is it still hurting? I am sorry for putting you in this position" she said almost crying.

"Shh. Don't cry. I can't see tears in your eyes. I told you this in nurses room also, then why are you crying? Tu aese roegi to tufaan aaenge. I am absolutely perfect, see nothing happened to me. And always remember that nothing can happen to me if my Laddoo is with me" Her cheeks turn red hearing this.

I pulled her more close to me and looked down at her hands which were still resting on my chest. I took her hands and intertwined our fingers and instead of talking we just stare into each other's eyes.

I lean down to her face. She immediately close her eyes at our proximity. I kissed her nose and she immediately open her eye. I smirked looking at her reaction.

"What happened Teju?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"No- Nothing. I think I should go befo-"

"Happy birthday Laddoo" I pecked her lips.

"I told you I'll do it again" I winked and she hide her face in my chest.

"Sunny I have to go before anyone caught us again. You please take care okay. I'll see you tomorrow" She said and left the room.
