KARAN POV
Teju and I were sitting in the cafeteria. She was saying something making cute faces but I wasn't paying attention to her words because I was busy admiring her laddo like face. God only this girl can change 10000 expressions in a minute.

"Karan are you listening to me?"

"Karan? Karan?"

Before I could answer, someone started pulling me backwards. The moment my back hit the wall, the cafeteria turned into a dark room. Teju came running towards me and cupped my face.

"Karan are you okay?" She asked worriedly

"Yes. I am but why are you calling me Karan?"

She ran her fingers down my cheeks to my neck and choked me. Something is wrong. She wasn't my Teju. She can't be.

"Wh- who are yo- you?" I try to speak.

She left me and laughed evilly. I look at my sroundings. I was in Ward D.

"Emi- Emily"

I wake up with a jerk. My chest became heavy and my body was drenched in sweat. For a moment I was paralyzed with fear. Fuck it was a dream.

The only thing could be heard in the silence of the midnight was the screams of the insane patients. I couldn't sleep anymore. It would be much better if I had Teju besides me. I wondered what she was doing right now. Did she have any nightmares too? Did she wake up wishing that I was next to her? Or had she been lucky enough to find sleep.

TEJASSWI POV
Here, every moment is dangerous for us. No one could say what D'Souza or Kunaal would do next. We really need an escape plan. Since Sunny is back, we really need to act fast. I saw Sunny coming into the cafeteria. His eyes met mine. He smiled and walked towards me, planting a quick kiss on my forehead before sitting down.

"Hi" I greeted.

"Hey" he replied then kissed me on the lips swiftly and before I could kiss him back he pressed his lips to my forehead. Then nose. Then cheek. He kisses all over my face. I giggled and Sunny smiled widely wrapping an arm around the back of my chair. He was looking breathtaking. His pink lips, beautiful bright eyes but still he looked somewhat off.

"Did you sleep?"

"Yeah" he said looking away from me as if he weren't telling me truth.

“You?” he asked

"Not really. Though it’s kind of hard to actually fall asleep. I wish you were there next to me" I said.

"Trust me. So do I" He sighed heavily and leaned back in his chair.

"I fucking hate it here" he continued.

"Me too" I agreed

“So what do we do about it?” He asked desperately

“I don't have a clue. Maybe we could start by talking to patients I guess" I suggest him.

"Do you really think that will help?" He asked with curiosity.

"It’s better than doing nothing. At least we will get some clubs. Some of them are worth talking to"

"I guess" he shrugged.

"But you are doing all the talking". His eyes pursued the room looking through his options.
