It took all the strength and pleading that a 15-year-old could provide to make the entity go. And still, they were unsure about the invitation.

-"What in the name of the fudge Hatter?! What do you mean no?!?! "Cherry whined as the other stared up apologetically from the paperwork they've been doing.

-"I ... I cannot go ... Still so much to do ..." Hatter stuttered.

-"Well, you're the one who's been howling for weeks that all this work was tiring and was crushing you!" Cherry observed. "Taking a small break wouldn't kill you, geez goddamnit!"

-"I don't knowww-" They awkwardly wrinkled their hands, despair painting itself over their face.

-"One day. One leisure day."The other bargained.

Hatter took the pile of signed paper and hid their face behind it.

Cherry walked over, pulled the paper stack away, and sighed. -"Hatter, we've accepted the invitation already. It would be extremely impolite if we didn't show up." She murmured. Then she cupped the other's cheeks, making the entity face her.

-"Anxious?" She inquired. Hatter gave a small nod in response. "It will be alright. Don't worry." Cherry hugged her friend and added when she pulled back: "Let's get ready. And let's not forget the presents. Nothing will go wrong, trust me."

Or so the little human thought.

"Are you sure it was him, Mandy," Poland asked Mandara, "he's never done anything like this before."

He was referring to the strange activity that has been occurring in a particular part of the country for the past three weeks. There have been reports of abnormal weather and human disappearances near Mount Triverboia. There have also been sightings of a dark man with pitch-black wings and a red demon with one eye made of gold.

At first, Mandara and MA thought nothing of it, but when the disappearances started happening is when they started taking it seriously.

"I don't know who else could do it," Mandara sighed, "I didn't tell them why they were coming because they probably wouldn't have."

"Well I think that instead of accusing Hatter, we should ask him if he even knows about it," MA said, leaning against the doorway of the living room, "that way if he didn't then he can help us find who is responsible."

Poland nodded in agreement, so Mandara also agreed with his brother's reasoning, "I just hope it really is just nothing," he muttered.

A medium-sized portal of a cerulean color appeared in front of the doors leading to the castle-like manor where lived the countryhumans of Mandara. It was the best shortcut and spared useless interactions for both the introvert and the ambivert.

From the portal stepped out a slender person with a top hat, who helped a shorter one who was carrying bags.

-"I have an odd feeling in my guts" Hatter confessed as they knocked at the massive wooden doors.

-"Eh, probably the nachos we ate before coming. Wow, the first place to explore in the whole of Mandara: a restroom." Cherry giggled.

-"Hey! Not funny." Hatter growled, but the other only burst into more laughter. "I can't explain it ... I recognize this feeling, but can't quite put my finger on what is going on ... Something ... no, someone, released energy.  Odd type of energy." Hatter intoned. "And the worst part, it's not from here..." that last part sank in Hatter's throat as the doors swung open.
