C:

When Poldara mentioned MA having an attack Cherry looked up with concern.

-"What attack? Did something else happen? Are you alright Mr. MA?"

Cherry wasn't there when it happened, she was still soundly asleep in her original room and no one bothered to tell her anything of it. Perhaps they just forgot.

-"There was a fight, but it is all good now" Chandeler squealed, however, he did not elaborate on his explanations.

The last thing that MA said flickered a spark in the child's optical orbs. Cherry's pupils were shaped as stars and her irises began to glow with a bright sparkling yellow that melted into a pleasant nectarine color. That was far from the human norms and it was odd since the teenager was technically supposed to be a regular humanling. Having eyes with a chameleon's ability to change colors was unexplainable. But, that is not the point of this.

-"BRO?!" She cocked her head to the side, eyebrows raised. Did she just get ... adopted? First, she gets rickrolled, now taken custody of. Interesting.

Her eyes caught the glimpses of the ash box and her previous smile flattened slightly.

- " I know what Hatter would have absolutely loved: peonies. I should probably try to find some and candles too. We can't bring him back, so at least grant him a descent farewell so may his soul Rest In Peace."

M:

"Oh right you weren't there," Poldara said, he was about to explain what happened when MA shot him a warning glare that told him not to, and although slightly confused, Poldara nodded in understanding and simply said, "but like Chandy said, it's all good now, no need to dwell on it."

When Cherry mentioned making Hatter a memorial, MA and Poldara nodded in agreement, "I think that is a great idea, we have a room in the house that we dedicated specifically for memorials, so I think he definitely deserves a place of honor."

"Agreed," Poldara said, then turned back to Cherry, "I'll get out of here and let you change and we can go gather the flowers and candles."

He patted Cherry's shoulder and crawled over to where he left his prosthetic and brace, put those on, and stood up with MA's help.

"Come on Chandy, let's give Cherry some privacy," he said, holding out his hand for Chandeler to step onto.

Chandeler hopped onto Poldara's palm, after which he was lifted up and he nestled himself on one of the man's shoulders. Then the three entities exited the room, closing the door behind them and leaving the teen some time to change into more proper clothing.

Cherry picked out the first thing that came under her grasp as she unzipped her backpack. It was a pair of shorts and a short-sleeved dress with dull magenta and white stripes. The girl wasn't particularly a fan of dresses and skirts anymore but she simply shrugged and put the clothes on. She brushed her hair, tied the laces on her sneakers, it all took less than ten minutes to get done with. Before she left the bedroom, Cherry walked over to the nightstand where was the ebony wooden box on which now rested a tricolored feather.

-"We will be back soon, see you" The teenager murmured while tracing stars and heart-like shapes on the lid with her finger. "We all miss you dearly ... Mr. Hero"

A ghost of a smile flashed on her face, then she walked away and out of the room to join the others that stood nearby in the hall.

M:

Poldara and MA were talking about what all happened while the militant was asleep, even though Mandoria apparently told him what happened, MA was grateful to get a more in-depth explanation of everything that occurred, though he was pretty embarrassed to hear that Luz carried him up to his room.
