Luz and Kiara almost instantly regained their composure as MA made his entrance, partially due to the fact that Poldara calmed down, and on another hand because of MA's words and strange behavior.

Well, Kiara was still redder than Rudolph deer's nose, but she stopped whining and managed to sit upright. Something ticked off and she could sense it.

The only one who seemed to not have paid much mind to the sudden interruption was Chandeler, who resumed to happily squeal while laying face down on the carpet and making snow ... um ... carpet angels.

-"... Am I the only one who thinks he's acting not like himself?" Kiara asked out loud when she couldn't hear any more footsteps or feel the countryhuman's essence near. "Like sure he doesn't particularly like or trust us and that's understandable but ..."

-"He sure acts a bit odd, but I guess it's just how he is? How long do we know him anyway, one ... one day and a half? Kiki, don't start a drama out of it please." Luz told her sibling who stood up with crossed arms.

-"... And what's that thing with the harshness and glasses?! Don't get me started on why did he say that we need to be watched over ..."

-"W-well Mr. Poland said that we needed to babysit yo-" Cherry mumbled while wringing her hands.

"Oh, okay," The angelic entity's hands balked into fists. "That's-That's just formidable! He doesn't trust us, I thought after that talk we were on good terms ... Is it bec-because o-of me? Wow. Because that's just great. Wow. Hah ... hahAhh"

She felt like she was treated as a child. A little kid who couldn't take care of itself and needed constant surveillance to make sure they don't break or set anything on fire. To her, it was irritating and unfair.

-"It's alright Kiki, calm down." Luz intoned.

-"Calm down ... CALM DOWN? I AM CALM" The other nearly shouted, startling everyone in the room.

Frankie crawled out of his hiding spot and walked over to the small gathering. The platypus blinked twice and from behind, began to climb on MC's clothes.

-"No Kiara. You're clearly freaking out and you can't lie to me. Take deep breaths." Luz stepped closer to comforting let other self, but instead, they were attracted as electrons to protons, and with a flash of light they fused back together.

Umbra stood in their place. She took off with a slightly trembling and bandaged hand, the eyepatch that MA gave her. Without another glance at it or at anybody she tossed the object to Cherry and silently stomped back to her room to release the steam.

Cherry desperately shot glanced down at her hands then out of the doorway, as if the angelic entity would return any second from then. That wasn't the case.

M:

"Gah," MC shouted when he felt Frankie climbing onto him, but instantly relaxed and instead pried him off to get a better look at the animal, "well hello there little fella, where did you come from."

"Kiara is right about Uncle MA," Poldara commented, ignoring MC and Frankie for the time being, "it's not like him to be so brash around people he knows, and I have never seen him wear sunglasses before, especially ones that are so dark."

He took out his phone, "I'm going to call dads to see what's up, Cherry, maybe you can give Chandy the rest of the potion like Kiara said."

"Alright, let's see what you guys are exactly," MA said to himself, he too had made his way to Umbra's room, still wearing the sunglasses.

When he got there he started rummaging around the closet and drawers, seemingly looking for something, but was getting frustrated as he came up empty.
