(Continuation of chapter 71)

-"Interesting" Luz hummed as she finished her plate and pushed it away.
That alone was more informative than when she had spoken with Prussia and Ussr.
-"And when it comes to warfare or international trades with other countries, can the countryhuman decide not to join into a war or decline an economic/political alliance or do they necessarily follow the human government's ideas?"

M:
"Both," all three countryhumans said in unison, surprising each other. They had a silent conversation about who would speak, and when they thought they had it figured out they all said, "yeah it's both," at the same time again.
"It depends on the severity of the situation," MC blurted before things could get awkward, then said normally, "if it is a simple alliance or trade agreement, the country will first discuss matters with their nation's leader and then meet with each other as ambassadors. But if it's something more pressing like war or national peace then the countryhuman can make a decision without the human leader, as when it comes down to it the country has complete jurisdiction over the land that bears their name."

Luz blinked as the three synchronically answered her, but took great interest in what was said and listened very carefully. She was about to ask one more thing, yet the thumbing clatter of something being broken and a muffled scream from outside made her lose her train of thought.
-"Alright, I know she said not to follow but I can't just sit here." Luz mumbled worriedly, then addressed the other three: "I'll check what is going on"
She afterward ran off to the entrance hall and out of the mansion.

-"Are you still upset?" Kiara softly spoke, disturbing the silence. " I mean, you knew that one day he would have died anyway, that shit is inevitable. But I would understand if the answer is yes. It had been only two days after all."
Cherry sighed and shifted to the side, so her face was closer to the entity's.
-"I guess I am just shocked. It took me by surprise ... Well, it always does, and in the worst possible moments too. But somehow I can't make up my mind that Hatty's gone. " The teenager murmured, stopping to cough a bit.
"It's crazy how in a matter of seconds your life can be turned upside down. Why is it that only when what we love comes to disappear do we realize how fragile life is? We can't take anything for granted anymore, 'cause stuff that's here today may not be tomorrow."
-"True, all very true." The angelic entity nodded, exhaling loudly. "That's why most immortal beings prefer not to get involved with mortals. It's not like with humans, who can come and go as they please, changing mates from one day to another. If immortals get attached to one or many little creatures and when those die, they are immensely heartbroken."
Kiara turned her head to face Cherry.
-"In your case, it's all the opposite and it kind of makes me guilty. You're known him for almost nine years now from what I've seen," She straightened herself, now gazing up into the sky. "Sorry that Hats died. Oh and tell me, why did you say he was imaginary?"
The teen sighed before rubbing her eyes and replying :
-"Nobody else seemed to notice Hatty at all, and he was there back when I had many imaginary friends to keep me company. I just assumed he must be another figment of my imagination, but at the same time he was so real..."
