Luz listened with eagerness to MC's tales. Some part dame her smile, some frown. When finally came the turn to tell about the prosthetic arm there was a barely palpable yet present uneasiness in the air.
Angelic entities, being more sensitive to emotions others emit, capt most of the signals right away.
The lady absentmindedly rubbed the cover of the book that the militant handed to her as she plunged herself into the other's memories.
Luz could relate to what he said. She too was given a second chance although she still couldn't fully comprehend why. Hatter saw something in her and had told her that all is possible, that an enemy is simply a friend that you have not yet made. Despite the younger angelic entity's departure, their promise still stood. Kiara and she were determined to stay on the new path and this given chance not to screw up.
-"I don't think he'll ever desert you." Luz softly spoke in a low voice. That was all she could say at first.
Her gaze fixated and she locked eyes with MC.
-"We were all a little messed up and broken somewhere in our past ... we're not so different after all. I think if anyone wanted to leave they would be long gone somewhere far away. Poldara's a nice kid, he has a big heart. Knowing him and his nature it's the least likely for him to abandon his friends or family." Luz murmured.

Elyss ... That word echoed in Cherry's ears. People rarely got to know the angelic entity's real name, the man preferred to go by a pseudonym or nickname instead as being called by his birth name gave him hurtful nostalgia.
The child smiled, releasing the winged entity from her grasp to set the platypus down. I can assure you that having a pyrotechnical mammal with poisonous glands resting on your head can get quite tiresome as it adds extra weight, giving you a hard time balancing your body properly.
That being done she stuck out a hand to gently ruffle the kitty's fur who purred more in satisfaction, being the main center of attention.
-"Awww Elyss, you cute little kitty-cat" Cherry giggled. "Well, Poldara you can't be allergic to your own magic so I believe Elyss here will cause you no problems."
That sounded weird as it left the teen's lips. Something has flown off her mind ... Right! She needed to find some candles for the memorial. A little light sends a little prayer for the ones who are no more.
As she was about to get up, Chandeler and Franklin decided it was time for a musical concert. The living room soon boomed with a discordant chorus of aggravated squeals and honking. After the spawn of no one knows exactly how many minutes, Akita and Elyss enthusiastically joined in and the cacophony grew even louder.
-"NO! Shush! You're going to awaken the entire city and then all of Mandara will know we're here!"The teenager scolded as she pried the top hat critter off of the special entity's shoulder and ran to pick up the supersonic platypus that raced in loops around the sofa.
It quieted down and Cherry sighed as the silence installed itself once more.
-"Looks like someone's feeling a lot better," The teen addressed to the fully awaken Chandeler. "I better go find those damn candles or else we'll never get to properly say goodbye ..."
M:
Poldara had to cover his non-existent ears at the noise since it was more or less right in them. When Chandeler and Franklin stopped making a racket, Akita and the newly dubbed Elyss followed suit and Poldara was able to remove his hands from the sides of his head.
