Chandeler was slightly offended to be compared to grasshopper food but said nothing of it. He gave another bow to the deity, then turned on his heels and skipped over to the winged countryhuman.

Cherry blinked, letting out a soft groan. She has awakened from another dreamless nap, as the ones she had before Hatter was gone. At the mention of bringing her friend back, she jolted up, rubbing the remains of sleep out of her eyes.

-"... wh ... Poldara?" she muttered. The teen patted her head to realize that indeed, the headwear was gone. Something bumped into her leg and she looked down.

A very small character wearing a tiny top hat stared back at her with a puzzled expression.

-"Hello Young Miss!" Chandeler squealed, waving his tiny hand.

-"Hi?" Cherry responded, equally confused. She bent down to pick up the little hat critter and examined it.

-"Who's this? Where are we going? And another thing, how does he plan to bring Hatter back ... I thought it was not possible." She turned to Poldara for an explanation.

Meanwhile Poldara, Cherry, and Chandeler were on the other side, discussing, Hatter and Umbra were teleported from the desolated dimension towards something less ... empty, I shall say.

There was garbage everywhere. Broken TVs, toasters, lampposts, a jeep, two motorcycles, a crashed airplane, and a cargo boat. There were in fact more trashed objects, with the exception of organic waste, rotten food, or clothes ... well fabric in general. Both angelic entities walked around unsurely, climbing over mountains of debris, their hearts glowed in the darkness and shone brightly enough for them to see where they stepped.

They both finally locked gazes.

Hatter gave her an apologetic stare.

Umbra wrinkled her nose, eyebrows furrowed, the unique iris gleaming with a dim golden hue. She crossed her arms.

-"Well congrats-your-damn-lations, we're even more lost now." She growled at the smaller entity. "Did you really have to touch that stone? Like, really?" Umbra facepalmed.

-"I ... I ... how could've I've known it'll bring us here?!" The man objected, under his eyes small bags formed over time. He was drained of his energy, however if he dared to fall asleep, it meant certain death for him this time. "If you didn't try to destroy the world back there, we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place!"

He sank to his knees, taking his head in his hands. They were standing on a pile of DVDs and cassettes, some lightbulbs and antique clocks as well as telephones lay carelessly on what was supposed to be the ground.

So dark ...

So cold ...

-"I just w-want to go h-home ..." he sobbed, not caring if the other would start mocking him for being emotionally weak. He was too tired.

Umbra's facial expression softened. She knew how the other felt, they were alike but so different at the same time. Taking a deep breath, Luz disconnected from Kiara and went over to the weeping boy.

-"Hey ... I-I'm sorry, I-" Luz bit her bottom lip. She felt extremely bad, for she knew that all they'd done till now was not worth it, it didn't even feel right, and yet she still complied with her other's deeds without objections. It was time for a change.

-" Hey ... it's okay, shhh I'm here, it will all be alright." The half of Umbra's soul murmured and gently wrapped her arms around Hatter. "We will find a way out."
