Hatter returned as fast as he could to the living room to check if everyone was okay.

-"I'm so sorry, Mandara are you alright?" He said, "Don't worry, I will never let them get even close, they have been defeated once, and together we will be able to stop them."

M:

"But we didn't defeat them," Mandara said, still in MA's hug, "Deutsche is the one that killed Prussia and Ussr died a year after Thunder made a peace treaty with him."

"But this time it's different, Dad," Poldara said, "I may have not been around during those times, but I know that what made Prussia and Ussr strong was their armies, now they are on their own and have no one to fight for them."

"You underestimate them Poldara," MA said sadly, "they both are formidable foes on the battlefield, and with nothing to lose and everything to risk, they are going to be ten times as desperate, and you remember what I taught you about desperate fighters."

"They don't play by the rules and would give their lives if it meant taking another," Poldara sighed.

While the Mandarians were talking, MC saw the book MA brought on the coffee table and picked it up, "MA, what's this?"

"Remember what I said about fighting a god with more gods, well-" MA explained, gesturing to the book.

MC opened it but frowned at the strange language it was written in, having never seen Mandorian before.

Hatter craned his neck in order to see, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. The inscriptions on the yellowish paper were not in a language he knew, but there were symbols similar to those runes he used in incantations drawn on the borders, only they were different. Maybe he was wrong ... but what if?

-"Are these ancient religious texts? "He asked. "I don't understand what is written, but this handiwork looks too meaningful to be a book of fairytales ... What kind of gods are you talking about MA?"

Meanwhile, all the grown-ups were inside discussing the matters, the teen was laying on her stomach by the flower beds, in a grand discussion with a caterpillar. She found the estate's garden and decided to stay there for a while, with the sweet aroma of roses, irises, peonies, and zinnias ... their bright and joyful colors attracted insects as bees and butterflies.

-"...And then he said like 'It's just better if you didn't get involved and bla bla bla!' Grrr, why is it that I say one thing, ONE THING, and I can't be part of the mission anymore? That's so unfair!" She ranted as the green animal crawled in a cyclical hell over and over her palms. "I know I don't have magic or any real fighting skills, but I still can help?! "

-"What can I do?" She asked. The caterpillar, of course, gave no response. "If only that angelic entity lady was crossed out somehow, it would be much easier to get rid of the rotisserie chicken and onion. "

It would've been nice to know what strategy the evil guys had in mind, the suspicious activities recorded on mount Triverboa were definitely their doings. What was their plan? Brute force without a good strategy is inefficient when it comes to battle plans. It could indeed function, but not as well as when thoroughly planned. If only someone could infiltrate there as a spy ...

A mischievous smile crept over Cherry's face. She rapidly made her way back to her room.

MA smiled and helped his brother off of the floor and onto the couch, Poland and Poldara sitting next to him.
