No one moved or spoke, they all still had a hard time processing everything, Eclipse eventually decided that he would go check on Cherry while Poldara and MC were still trying to figure something out.

All Poldara could think was that they needed Hatter back, he is the only one that can fix this, everything is falling apart and he was the only one who can fix it, but it was impossible for him to come back.

Or is it?

Poldara's eyes widened as he remembered that night when they went to the Eye of Ora and brought Hatter back the first time, what if it could work a second time?

"Wait a minute, what if we talk to that cat god thing again," he blurted, hope returning to his heart, "that entity that brought you, Kiara, and Hatter back the first time, I remember he said that he could bring people back from the Great Beyond, and he's apparently friends with Chandeler so he might be our only hope right now since we clearly can't fix things without Hatter, Luz, it could work."

C:

Luz gave Poldara a blank stare as she listened to him talking. He was not wrong, without Hatter everything fell apart, so better find a way of bringing him from the land of the dead ...but was it the right thing to do? What is gone better be left where it is, most of the time. Besides, would the spirit grant them its aid, especially after all that has been done?

-"I don't know Poldara, soliciting help from them isn't the best idea" The woman sighed.

They had no more choices.

-"... But you know what? Let's give it a shot. We don't have any other alternatives for now so I don't see why we couldn't try." She replied and turned on her heels to walk out of the living room. She stopped once outside in the hall and called "Let's fetch that top hat critter, all action has to begin somewhere."

M:

"Yeah, I think he's still in Cherry's room," Poldara said as he and MC stood to go with Luz, "I hope she's not too broken."

Meanwhile, Eclipse was still with Cherry trying his best to give her comfort, but being a split-personality demon he wasn't very good at it. Chandeler had woken up and was doing most of the talking while Eclipse simply hugged the teen, and gave her some tea to help too.

———

She was found by Eclipse still laying curled up on the bed, hand crisped over the black box.

Cherry had stopped crying, she still sniffled and to be honest her mind wasn't truly filled with much, maybe she was just too concentrated on some major thoughts to care. But it was in constant panic and as if there was a potential danger nearby. There was this omnipresent static that made her head hurt.

Somehow (unsurprisingly), she as well as the others began to blame herself for Hatter's departure.

Foremost, however, it was not deception nor grief that fueled her system. The emotion that burned deep down from the very core, what was slowly sinking into the teenager's nerves, it was fear. She was afraid, frightened by everything and even by the slightest of sounds.

The teen heard footsteps approaching the dorm and as she hadn't bothered herself with closing the door, the visitor entered without knocking. It could have been anyone, yet the steps were lighter. She didn't bother to turn around to look either.

"Cherry?"

The voice rang and she flinched, jolting to sit upright. Eclipse!

The vivid flashes of the past few days and the last one where she hung in the air by the throat made their way to her brain.
