74: Floor is lava

(Continuation of chapter 73)

C:

Cherry cocked her head to the side, her eye color shifting to a mix of yellow and orange.

-"Okay, we'll wait then. I only hope they didn't go to the upper floor, that place was giving off pretty bad vibes earlier."

Kiara sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck, plainly aware of the reason for these 'bad vibes'. Chandeler squirmed and kept tapping on her arm until the lady groaned and looked down.

-"Yes. What is it?" She stared for a moment before it returned to her memory. "Oh yeah, that 'super important thing about which I know nothing but seems to matter a lot'."

In a blink, there were two identical copies of the angelic entity sitting on the bed. They looked at each other and let out a strained sound.

The clone stood up and wordlessly exited, taking away the tiny hat entity in order to investigate.

Kiara returned to her sowing, only this time she doubled the pace and her moves were all a blur, neatly removing the old stitches and making new ones. She grinned as she was done at last. The stitch marks began to glow, morphing into flesh but leaving no scar marks behind.

Cherry had plopped down on the floor and hummed a song while sorting out some stickers. She took one with a glittery 'AWESOME!' with stars and stuck it on MC's hand.

-"Boop," She said with a giggle, and did the same only this time with Eclipse.

Kiara chuckled at the teenager's childishness, but her eye widened and she squeaked in surprise when she was booped in turn. A small picture of a cat's head with the mention 'Purrrfect' looked back from her wrist.

-"Ah, children'' She muttered, then perked up when heavy footsteps echoed through the corridor. "Well, that was fast." She commented as a head popped in the open doorway.

-"Yes, of course." Luz hurried and helped Poldara to stand. "Sorry but I don't carry any vials on me, I'll ask Kiara, she might have a balm or something of the sort for muscle sores."

The angelic entity stopped to ponder for a few seconds, she looked at the library entrance, the back at the winged man.

-"I don't want to make this sound weird or anything, it's just a suggestion, but I could carry you downstairs if you'd like. It would be faster, too." Luz volunteered.

M:

Poldara shook his head, "that won't be necessary," he simply said, then put his fingers to his lips and whistled. Not even ten seconds later Akita came in with a walking cane in her mouth, her owner took it and gave her some chin scratches, "ok, let's go."

The two walked off to MA's room, it still took a bit since Poldara was a little slower than normal since he was sore, but they managed fine and arrived at the room.

"Knock, knock," he said with a light smile, "I have a delivery for a Mis. Kiara."

"You might have to leave it at the door," Eclipse chuckled, "she's currently getting glamoured up by a Cherry Blossom."

C:

Kiara rolled her eye at Eclipse's comment but sat still as Cherry continued to apply sparkling stickers all over her arms.

-"Don't worry Clipsy," Cherry contested without glancing up from what she was doing. "You're gonna be next."

Luz peeked inside the room to find her sister staring her dead in the eye.
