Little did he know that someone was aware of what was happening to Cherry. Eclipse wasn't like everyone else obviously, he may have a physical body and is able to interact with the world around him but he's not supposed to. He was created as a little voice inside his host's brain, a sentient manifestation of MA's inner desires, so due to the magical intervention that gave him his newfound freedom, he was made aware of things that he shouldn't.

He saw as Cherry's spirit detached from herself, freak out, and ran, confusing him a great deal. He looked to Cherry's physical form, he was breathing perfectly fine and seemed to be normal, but the entity couldn't detect a heartbeat which frightened him.

Unsure of what to do he asked Luz, "I thought I just saw Cherry's spirit run out of the room, did you see that too or am I just going crazier than I already am?"

C:

Luz shot a glance at Eclipse and muttered looking down at the child's resting figure:

-"Run out ... Her spirit ran out?! Uh, no, I didn't, as matter of fact. Though one thing is clear, humans aren't supposed to do that. The only way they detach their souls from their shells is by meditation. Though even now and then not everyone does that. "She placed two fingers under the immobile teenager's chin, then slowly shook her head. "You're right. Her spirit definitely left her body. I thought something was glitching with my detector ... it's the first time I actually get to see this occur. I've only heard one or two stories about this condition ... "

Luz dug in her library-like memory in search of the bits of advice and tips she was given about how to deal with it.

-"In normal conditions, Cherry should be back together in not too long and if there is nothing that could present a potential threat she should be fine and we will only have to wait ... But hold up! " Something flickered in her brain and she turned back to face the smaller entity.

"Did the spirit have a thread or a thing that looked like a tail sticking out?"

Cherry in the meantime had reached the corridor's ceiling. He frantically rubbed his eyes as immaterial tears streamed out of them.

-"W-why am I so stupid ... why can't I help people."

Poldara's last words returned to echo in his mind.

-"Would have been easier, would have been easier ... Better would have been if no one's throat was slit!"

Nobody could hear him, see him or do anything for him. He was walking the narrow path between life and death.

Cherry finally got down from where he floated. He came to learn that he floated up when he was particularly upset, though knowing that new information wasn't helping him at all.

He needed to calm down.

-"Let's go in the g-garden, y-you'll find something waiting-" his voice cracked and tears rolled down his cheeks.

The boy's feet now barely effloresced the floor. He had crossed his arms over his chest and hugged himself as he progressed through the hall.

-"Right there where you left it lying upside down ... "

He wasn't sure how or why, yet after a few minutes of walk-floating across the mansion he stumbled on Poldara.

The man was hunched down, wings sagged yet brought closer to his body.

The teen silently sat down beside him, and at last, softly began to sing yet again the familiar melody. He closed his eyes and sang as he leaned his head onto the other's side, well aware he could pass right through him. Nevertheless Cherry continued to sing. He hoped that this immaterial, invisible presence of his would maybe ... at least ... somehow ... help to make Poldara feel a little itsy bitsy bit better.
