Cherry pulled himself out of the position he was in and his stomach grumbled impatiently at the mention of food. The teenager tried to think of something else than his old friends since it brought back waves of nostalgia and the ardent wish to have them all with him, which was not possible. Things come and go but the memories stay. Now the parcels of memories of his home returned to care themselves in the boy's mind. It was great to visit a friend's homely dimension, but after a while, the longing for your own place will dawn upon you. And no matter where you roam, there's no other place like home.
The people gathered in that room were all the same, yet different.
No, never mind, not different; Unique. Unique with origins and experiences, but all in the same boat when it came to some specific topics.
Cherry's eyes wandered from the ceiling to the floor, then to the small tabouret that took office of a nightstand on which sat the top hat. He took it and placed it on his head then smiled through the oxi-mask.
-"Yeah, let's eat, we're all for the most insanely hungry."
A thought zoomed a through his mind and he whispered to Eclipse's intention: "I'm not super talented, but I could draw you a picture of you with Johann, Mandy, and MA if you'd like."

Kiara nodded in acknowledgment and suppressed a yawn.
-"Thanks, but I'll pass. I'm really too tired to even make decently sassy remarks, I'll just go and experiment with what you folks call 'sleeping'. "She rubbed her eyes, the purplish bags underneath them were still visible.
Kiara hugged her sister and patted Poldara's head too.
-"Good night you little shits, don't commit crimes without notifying me, and don't die." She said to them all and dragged herself out of the room.
-"Kiara-" was all Luz could manage to utter.
-"Hey, it was gender-neutral, sassy, AND offensive, that's the best you can get. STAY FRESH, CHEESE BAGS!" The other proclaimed as she poked her face one last time through the doorway.
Before Luz could comment, the other one was already gone and only the quieting laughter could be heard as well as footsteps that receded. So she sighed and stood up from the bed.
-"I can help you bring the food up here Poldara." She offered.
M:
"Sure, I did order a lot since I was pretty hungry," Poldara said, "never order food when you're hungry or you'll quite literally bite off more than you can chew. Eclipse, Cherry, you two behave till we get back, put on some TV or something to occupy yourselves just don't cause any trouble."
"Hey, I'm older than you, you know," Eclipse pointed out.
"Maybe when you're with my uncle but if you're by yourself you're considered a kid," Poldara responded, "just stay in this room till we get back, that can't be too much to ask. Oh, and Cherry, you can take the oxygen mask off if you want, it's not like you will be able to eat with it on anyway."
With that Poldara and Luz left to grab the takeout, Eclipse pouted on the bed at being called a kid, "I'm not a kid, I'm over three centuries older than him," he then looked to Cherry, "so you draw huh, you any good?"

The teenager gladly removed the mask, it was a good sensation. He chuckled at Eclipse's pouting.
-"Adults will forever be overgrown children and nothing can change that." He smiled. He reflexively passed his fingers over his dry lips, then felt an unusual bump. The line went vertically across his mouth's left side. "Oh great another scar to the collection." He sighed and his eyes went back to stare at Eclipse.
